Job Roles at Cepheid
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Cepheid H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
At Cepheid, H-1B sponsorship is most common in technical and scientific roles, think molecular biology, software engineering, and regulatory affairs. Focus your applications on positions that clearly require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field.
Understand the H-1B lottery timing before you apply
Cepheid must file your H-1B petition before the April lottery cap. Plan your job search to land an offer well before March so your employer has time to prepare the petition and file during the registration window.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early in the interview process
Not every open role at Cepheid is pre-approved for H-1B sponsorship. Ask the recruiter directly during your first conversation whether the specific position supports visa sponsorship to avoid wasting time on roles that don't.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified H-1B roles at Cepheid
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history. Instead of guessing which Cepheid postings support H-1B, you can identify confirmed opportunities in medical devices and focus your applications there.
Highlight expertise in diagnostics or regulated environments on your resume
Cepheid operates in a heavily regulated medical device space. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with FDA-regulated workflows, ISO standards, or molecular diagnostics are more likely to stand out and secure H-1B sponsorship consideration.
Engage Cepheid's talent acquisition team directly if you have a relevant background
For highly specialized roles in assay development or quality systems, reaching out to Cepheid's recruiters proactively can help. Demonstrating niche expertise in the medical device sector often opens conversations that standard applications miss.

Does Cepheid sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Cepheid sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions for qualified international candidates, particularly in technical and scientific roles within its medical device and diagnostics business. Sponsorship is generally available for positions that meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard.
Which roles and departments at Cepheid typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Cepheid is most common in roles tied to research and development, molecular biology, software and systems engineering, regulatory affairs, and quality sciences. These positions require specialized degrees that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements, making them the most natural fit for sponsorship consideration within the company.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Cepheid?
Once Cepheid extends a job offer and confirms sponsorship, the company works with immigration counsel to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by an H-1B petition with USCIS. You'll provide supporting documents about your educational background and the role. The process is managed primarily by Cepheid's HR and legal teams.
How do I know how long the H-1B process takes when applying through Cepheid?
Standard H-1B processing with USCIS can take several months after the cap lottery in April. Cepheid may use premium processing to expedite approval in 15 business days when timing is critical. Build in at least six months from offer acceptance to your intended start date to account for lottery selection, petition preparation, and USCIS review.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Cepheid as an international applicant?
Start by searching Cepheid's careers page and filtering for roles in your technical specialty. Migrate Mate is also a strong resource for international applicants, it aggregates verified H-1B sponsoring employers so you can quickly identify active Cepheid openings with confirmed sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend vetting each posting manually.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Cepheid?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
