Align your credentials with CPA pipeline roles
EisnerAmper's H-1B filings cluster around audit, tax, and advisory positions that feed its CPA pipeline. Before applying, confirm your degree field maps directly to the role, USCIS requires a direct relationship between your academic background and the specialty occupation.
Research prevailing wage tiers before negotiating
EisnerAmper must certify your offered salary meets the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your job title and metro area before your offer conversation so you're negotiating from an informed position.
Target offices with active international hiring history
EisnerAmper operates across multiple U.S. metros with different hiring volumes. Focus applications on offices in major financial centers where the firm's audit and advisory practices are largest, as those locations historically generate more sponsored positions for international candidates.
Confirm H-1B intent during the offer stage
Don't wait until after you've accepted an offer to raise visa sponsorship. Ask the recruiting team directly whether the role is approved for H-1B sponsorship and whether the firm uses a preferred immigration counsel, so there are no surprises when USCIS registration opens in March.
Use Migrate Mate to verify EisnerAmper's LCA filing history
Before your interview, pull EisnerAmper's Labor Condition Application filings on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and office locations the firm has certified. That data tells you which roles have a real sponsorship track record, not just which ones mention it in a job posting.
Prepare your specialty occupation evidence early
For accounting and advisory roles, USCIS scrutinizes whether a bachelor's degree in a specific field is a standard industry requirement. Gather job postings, O*NET occupation profiles, and any professional licensing requirements that confirm your role qualifies as a specialty occupation before filing begins.
EisnerAmper H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does EisnerAmper sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, EisnerAmper sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in accounting, audit, tax, and advisory roles. The firm recruits internationally for positions that require specialized academic credentials, and it has an established process for supporting sponsored employees through USCIS filings. Confirming sponsorship availability for a specific role during the recruiting process is the right first step.
Which departments at EisnerAmper typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at EisnerAmper is most common in audit, tax, and financial advisory functions, where roles formally require a degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field. These positions meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard most cleanly. Advisory and consulting roles may also qualify depending on the technical requirements attached to the position.
How do I start the H-1B process at EisnerAmper?
Once EisnerAmper extends a job offer and confirms sponsorship, the firm's immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. After LCA certification, the employer submits an H-1B registration during the USCIS lottery window in March. If selected, a full petition is filed. The entire sequence from offer to approved status typically spans several months.
How do I find open H-1B roles at EisnerAmper?
Migrate Mate lists EisnerAmper positions filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can identify which roles and office locations have an actual track record of sponsorship rather than relying on job posting language alone. Targeting roles where the firm has filed Labor Condition Applications for similar titles strengthens your candidacy from the start.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at EisnerAmper?
The H-1B annual cap registration opens each March, with USCIS selecting registrations by lottery shortly after. If selected, the approved start date is October 1 of that year. From offer letter to authorized work start, the process spans roughly six to nine months for cap-subject filings. Premium processing can accelerate petition adjudication once the full petition is filed.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at EisnerAmper?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
