Job Roles at InterSystems
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in InterSystems H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles tied to InterSystems core products
InterSystems builds data platforms for healthcare, finance, and logistics. Focus your applications on engineering and technical roles directly tied to IRIS, HealthShare, or TrakCare, these product teams have the strongest history of H-1B sponsorship activity.
Confirm sponsorship before applying
Not every open role at InterSystems comes with H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which InterSystems postings have a confirmed record of supporting international candidates.
Understand the H-1B cap lottery timing
InterSystems files H-1B petitions under the annual USCIS cap. Registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Align your job search and offer timeline to give the company enough runway to prepare your petition before the registration window opens.
Highlight specialized technical skills in your application
InterSystems operates in competitive healthcare and enterprise software markets. Candidates with domain-specific expertise, database architecture, clinical informatics, interoperability standards like HL7 or FHIR, are stronger H-1B petition candidates because the specialty occupation case is easier to support.
Ask about sponsorship directly during the hiring process
In Technology and Software companies like InterSystems, H-1B sponsorship decisions often involve HR, legal, and the hiring manager. Ask early in the process whether the role is open to sponsorship so you're not caught off guard after an offer.
Prepare documentation that clearly supports the specialty occupation standard
USCIS requires that H-1B roles qualify as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. Work with InterSystems's immigration counsel to ensure your degree, job duties, and title are aligned in a way that holds up under scrutiny.

Does InterSystems sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, InterSystems sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying technical roles. The company operates in the Technology and Software industry, and its engineering and software development positions regularly meet the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B sponsorship. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open role, so confirming visa support before applying is worthwhile.
Which roles and departments at InterSystems typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at InterSystems is most common in software engineering, systems architecture, healthcare informatics, and technical consulting roles tied to its core data platform products. Roles requiring specialized knowledge of database systems, interoperability standards, or enterprise integration tend to qualify most cleanly as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at InterSystems?
Once InterSystems extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, the company's HR team coordinates with outside immigration counsel to file your H-1B petition. This typically involves gathering educational credentials, employment verification, and job duty documentation. You'll work closely with the assigned attorney throughout the process, including responding to any Requests for Evidence from USCIS.
How do I plan my timeline for an H-1B at InterSystems?
Cap-subject H-1B petitions at InterSystems follow the USCIS annual cycle, with registration in March and an October 1 employment start date if selected. That means you'll want an offer in hand by late February at the latest. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer can happen outside the cap timeline without the same seasonal constraints.
How do I find and apply for H-1B sponsored jobs at InterSystems?
Start by identifying InterSystems roles that align with your technical background, particularly in software development or healthcare IT. Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can focus on companies and roles with a real track record. Once you've identified a strong match, apply directly and confirm sponsorship availability early in the conversation.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at InterSystems?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
