Job Roles at Keysight Technologies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Keysight Technologies H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and R&D roles first
Keysight's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in electrical engineering, software engineering, and hardware development. Focus your applications on roles that align with the company's core business in electronic measurement and test equipment.
Demonstrate specialty occupation qualifications clearly
H-1B approval requires proving the role is a specialty occupation. For Keysight, this means highlighting degree qualifications in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field that directly maps to the job description.
Apply well before the April H-1B cap deadline
Keysight must file H-1B petitions during the annual cap registration window each March. Securing your offer and completing internal HR processes several months before that window opens is essential to staying on track.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history before applying
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history. Confirming Keysight's active H-1B record before investing time in the application process helps you prioritize companies with a genuine track record.
Understand Keysight's internal HR and immigration workflow
Large electronics companies typically route H-1B petitions through a dedicated immigration counsel or in-house HR team. Ask your recruiter early which law firm handles filings so you can anticipate document requests and timelines accurately.
Highlight domain expertise relevant to Keysight's markets
Keysight serves aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and wireless industries. Candidates whose experience intersects with these sectors are more competitive for sponsored roles, as the technical specificity strengthens the specialty occupation argument in the H-1B petition.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Keysight Technologies sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Keysight Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles across its U.S. locations. Sponsorship is concentrated in technical disciplines including electrical engineering, software development, and hardware design. If you hold a relevant degree and have an offer in a qualifying specialty occupation role, Keysight has an established process for supporting H-1B petitions.
Which roles and departments at Keysight Technologies typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Keysight is most common in engineering and research functions, including RF and microwave engineering, software engineering, ASIC and hardware design, and applications engineering. Corporate functions such as IT and data science may also qualify if the role requires a specific technical degree. Customer-facing or general business roles are less commonly sponsored.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Keysight Technologies?
Once you receive an offer, Keysight's HR team coordinates with an immigration attorney to prepare your H-1B petition. You'll need to provide educational credentials, employment history, and passport details. The attorney handles the Labor Condition Application and USCIS filing. Your role is to respond promptly to document requests and keep HR informed of any status changes.
How do I find open H-1B sponsored roles at Keysight Technologies?
Keysight posts openings on its careers site, but not all listings indicate whether sponsorship is available. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from verified H-1B sponsors, so you can identify Keysight positions where sponsorship has historically been provided and apply with greater confidence that your visa status won't disqualify you late in the process.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at Keysight Technologies?
The full H-1B timeline spans several months. Cap-subject petitions require registration in March, with work authorization starting no earlier than October 1 if selected. From offer acceptance to start date, plan for roughly six to nine months. Cap-exempt situations, such as transfers from another H-1B employer, can move faster since they aren't tied to the annual lottery window.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Keysight Technologies?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
