Target engineering and RF design roles
Qorvo's sponsorship activity is concentrated in highly technical disciplines, think semiconductor design, RF engineering, and signal processing. Focusing your application on these core areas gives you the best chance of landing a role with a clear path to sponsorship.
Understand Qorvo's dual-track sponsorship approach
Qorvo sponsors both H-1B visas and permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If long-term U.S. residence is your goal, ask recruiters early about their Green Card sponsorship timeline and which track applies to your role.
Align your degree with the specialty occupation standard
H-1B approval at a semiconductor company like Qorvo requires a direct connection between your degree and the job. Electrical engineering, materials science, and physics degrees map cleanly, make that alignment explicit in your resume and cover letter.
Research Qorvo's campus and product divisions
Qorvo operates across multiple U.S. sites focused on different product lines. Identifying which campus aligns with your specialization, defense, mobile, or infrastructure, helps you target roles where sponsorship demand and hiring activity are strongest.
Move quickly during H-1B season
Qorvo is an active H-1B sponsor, which means competition for sponsored roles peaks before the April filing deadline. Starting your job search in late fall gives you the best window to interview, receive an offer, and complete paperwork in time.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for verified sponsorship history
Not every Electronics and Hardware company will sponsor visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your time on companies like Qorvo that have a strong track record.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Qorvo sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Qorvo sponsors H-1B visas and has established itself as an active sponsor in the Electronics and Hardware sector. Sponsorship is most common in engineering and technical roles where a specialized degree is a firm requirement, such as RF engineering, semiconductor design, and hardware development. If you're targeting Qorvo, confirming sponsorship intent early in the recruiter conversation is always advisable.
What visa types does Qorvo sponsor?
Qorvo sponsors H-1B nonimmigrant visas for temporary work authorization and supports permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. The EB-2 path is typically available to candidates with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers professionals and skilled workers. Both pathways reflect Qorvo's commitment to retaining international talent in specialized technical roles long term.
Which departments or roles at Qorvo are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Qorvo is most concentrated in engineering functions, particularly RF design, semiconductor process engineering, systems engineering, and hardware development. Research and development roles that require graduate-level expertise in electrical engineering or physics are strong candidates. Corporate functions like sales or general management are less likely to qualify under the H-1B specialty occupation standard.
How do I time my application to Qorvo for H-1B sponsorship?
The H-1B cap filing window opens April 1 each year, with the lottery registration period falling in March. To be included, you need an approved offer well before then. Targeting Qorvo roles in October through January gives you the best chance to complete interviews, receive an offer, and allow time for the LCA and petition preparation, without rushing against the deadline.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Qorvo?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find sponsored roles at Qorvo. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate verifies sponsorship history so you can filter specifically for companies with a documented track record of filing H-1B petitions and Green Cards. This saves significant time by surfacing only employers who are genuinely open to sponsoring international candidates in your field.
