Job Roles at Mohawk Industries
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Mohawk Industries H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technology and engineering roles
Mohawk Industries sponsors H-1B visas most consistently for roles in IT, engineering, and supply chain, not entry-level or generalist positions. Focus your search on technical and specialized openings where the specialty occupation standard is clearly satisfied.
Understand the flooring and materials industry
Mohawk operates across flooring, textiles, and home products manufacturing. Demonstrating knowledge of industrial processes, materials science, or fashion and apparel supply chains makes you a stronger candidate for H-1B-eligible roles in this specialized sector.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before applying
Not every Mohawk job listing explicitly mentions H-1B sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsors and confirm Mohawk's actual H-1B history before investing time in an application that may not support visa sponsorship.
Highlight your degree's direct relevance
Mohawk's H-1B sponsorship requires a qualifying specialty occupation tied directly to your degree field. In interviews, be explicit about how your academic background connects to the specific role, vague connections weaken the petition.
Build relationships with Mohawk's recruiting team
Large manufacturers often rely on internal recruiters who handle H-1B logistics directly. Engaging early, asking specifically about sponsorship support, and understanding their internal immigration process signals seriousness and reduces friction when the petition is filed.

Does Mohawk Industries sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Mohawk Industries sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established pattern of sponsoring international employees in technical, engineering, and corporate roles. Sponsorship is not universal across all positions, so confirming visa support directly with the recruiter during the application process is important before investing significant time.
Which roles and departments at Mohawk Industries typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Mohawk Industries is concentrated in roles requiring specialized expertise, primarily information technology, engineering, supply chain, finance, and operations. Positions in software development, industrial engineering, and logistics management align most consistently with the specialty occupation requirements that H-1B petitions depend on. Generalist or hourly roles rarely qualify.
How do I apply for a job at Mohawk Industries with H-1B sponsorship?
Apply directly through Mohawk's careers portal and clearly indicate you require H-1B sponsorship in the application. After receiving an offer, Mohawk's HR or legal team initiates the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then files the I-129 petition with USCIS. If cap-subject, the petition must be submitted during the April filing window.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Mohawk Industries?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the timeline runs from March lottery registration through an October 1 start date at the earliest. Standard USCIS processing adds several months after the lottery selection. Premium processing is available to reduce the adjudication period to roughly 15 business days, though Mohawk's internal policy on covering that cost should be confirmed with your recruiter.
How do I find verified H-1B jobs at Mohawk Industries?
Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors so you can confirm Mohawk Industries's actual sponsorship history and filter open roles that have supported international candidates. This removes the guesswork of identifying which listings genuinely welcome H-1B applicants, saving time and reducing the risk of applying to positions that won't support sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Mohawk Industries?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
