Target roles that align with specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility at NOVEL PREP depends on the role requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Focus on positions in curriculum design, instructional technology, or academic program management, where degree requirements are clearly defined and documented.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before applying
Not every open role at NOVEL PREP will include H-1B sponsorship. Reach out to the hiring team early to confirm availability. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before spending time on an application.
Understand the education sector's hiring calendar
Education companies like NOVEL PREP often align hiring with academic cycles. Timing your application to match the H-1B cap filing window in early spring, alongside NOVEL PREP's recruitment periods, significantly improves your chances of a timely petition submission.
Highlight subject matter expertise relevant to NOVEL PREP's programs
NOVEL PREP operates in a specialized educational niche. Applications that clearly connect your academic background and professional experience to the company's specific instructional programs are far more likely to support a strong H-1B specialty occupation argument.
Ask directly about the internal H-1B process during interviews
Some education employers handle H-1B filings through in-house HR, while others use outside immigration counsel. Asking NOVEL PREP's recruiter which law firm or process they use signals seriousness and helps you understand the timeline you're working with.
Prepare documentation that supports your degree-to-role connection
USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims in the education industry. Come prepared with transcripts, credential evaluations for foreign degrees, and a clear written explanation of how your specific degree field is directly relevant to the role NOVEL PREP is hiring for.
NOVEL PREP H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does NOVEL PREP sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, NOVEL PREP sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in the education sector. Sponsorship is not available for every position, so candidates should confirm directly with the recruiting team that the specific role they're applying to is eligible for H-1B support before moving forward in the process.
Which roles at NOVEL PREP are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at NOVEL PREP is most commonly associated with positions that require a specific degree in fields like education, instructional design, or a related academic discipline. Roles in curriculum development, academic program management, and education technology are strong candidates, as they typically meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires.
How do I apply for H-1B sponsorship at NOVEL PREP?
The process starts with a job offer from NOVEL PREP. Once an offer is extended, NOVEL PREP's HR or immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by an H-1B petition with USCIS. Most cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, so timing your offer accordingly is important.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at NOVEL PREP?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the process runs roughly six months from registration to the October 1 start date. If NOVEL PREP opts for premium processing, USCIS adjudicates the petition within 15 business days of receipt. Administrative processing or Requests for Evidence can extend the timeline, so building in buffer time is advisable.
How do I find open H-1B jobs at NOVEL PREP?
Migrate Mate lists H-1B sponsoring employers including NOVEL PREP, allowing you to filter specifically for roles at verified sponsors in the education sector. Checking NOVEL PREP's careers page alongside Migrate Mate gives you the clearest picture of which active openings are likely to include H-1B sponsorship as part of the offer.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at NOVEL PREP?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
