Target roles that align with Revvity's core business
Revvity's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in technical and scientific disciplines supporting its medical devices and diagnostics operations. Focus your applications on roles in hardware engineering, software development, regulatory affairs, and applied research to maximize your chances.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before applying
Not every Revvity job listing explicitly states H-1B sponsorship availability. Check the job description carefully for sponsorship language, and use Migrate Mate to filter verified H-1B sponsors so you're only investing time in roles with a real path to visa support.
Understand the medical devices hiring timeline
Revvity operates in a regulated industry where background checks and compliance reviews extend hiring timelines. Build in extra lead time before your OPT or current visa status expires to accommodate a slower-than-average process without creating gaps in work authorization.
Emphasize domain-specific credentials in your application
For H-1B sponsorship at Revvity, a degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related scientific field strengthens your case. Specialty occupation status is easier to establish when your credentials directly match the role's technical requirements.
Connect with Revvity's talent acquisition team early
Sponsorship decisions at Revvity often involve HR, legal counsel, and hiring managers. Reaching out to recruiters before or during the application process signals proactive intent and gives you an early read on whether the specific role has sponsorship budget approved.
Prepare for the H-1B cap registration window
If your role requires a cap-subject H-1B, Revvity must register you during USCIS's annual lottery window, typically in March. Time your offer negotiation so employment paperwork is finalized well before registration opens to avoid missing the filing opportunity.
Revvity H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Revvity sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Revvity sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles, primarily in technical and scientific functions tied to its medical devices and life sciences business. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirming with the recruiter during early conversations is the most reliable way to verify availability for a specific role.
Which roles at Revvity are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Revvity is most common in roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, including software engineers, hardware engineers, biomedical scientists, regulatory affairs specialists, and research scientists. Positions requiring a specific technical or scientific degree in a field directly tied to Revvity's diagnostics and instruments portfolio are the strongest candidates for sponsorship consideration.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Revvity?
Once Revvity extends an offer with sponsorship confirmed, their legal team or outside immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits the H-1B petition to USCIS. As the applicant, your role is to provide educational credentials, employment history, and personal documentation promptly. Delays in document gathering are the most common cause of missed filing deadlines.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Revvity?
From offer acceptance to having an approved H-1B, the process typically takes several months when standard processing is used. Premium processing can reduce the USCIS adjudication window significantly. Because Revvity operates in a regulated industry with additional internal compliance steps, factoring in extra time before your current work authorization expires is strongly advised.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Revvity that are open to sponsorship?
Revvity posts openings on its careers page, but sponsorship eligibility isn't always clearly flagged. Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors and lets you filter specifically for companies with a confirmed sponsorship history, which reduces the risk of applying to roles where sponsorship isn't actually available. Cross-referencing both sources gives you the most complete picture of your options at Revvity.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Revvity?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
