Description
Intern will be involved in management of product line throughout the entire product life-cycle including strategic and tactical activities such as product definition, development, launch, business and customer opportunity growth, and key customer support.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with other PLMs and sales teams to design in compelling new products and solutions across a diverse set of customers and partners.
- Interactions involve influencing and persuading managers and peer contributors.
- Defining products with customers by translating customer needs into technical specifications for product development teams.
- Developing data sheets, product roadmaps, and product launch plans with Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Design Engineering teams.
- Driving reference design activities and partnerships with Marketing and Applications teams.
- Nurturing customer opportunity pipeline, analyzing the health of the opportunities and looking for creative ways to close design-ins and design-wins.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of BSEE or equivalent
- Semiconductor marketing and product management experience or interest
- Interest in Automotive and datacenter market semiconductors and systems

- Academic or professional exposure to one or more of the following areas: isolation IC’s, power management IC’s, EV automotive subsystems, datacenter or server power supplies
- Ability to understand IC architectures and mixed-signal products

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
