Job Roles at TE Connectivity
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in TE Connectivity H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
TE Connectivity's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in roles like electrical engineering, software development, and systems design. Focusing your search on these functions gives you the strongest chance of landing a position where sponsorship is an expected part of hiring.
Confirm sponsorship early in the process
Not every TE Connectivity role will come with H-1B sponsorship, even in technical departments. Ask the recruiter directly during the first call whether the specific position supports sponsorship, so you don't invest weeks in a process that won't move forward.
Use a platform with verified sponsorship data
When searching for open roles, Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history. This helps you prioritize TE Connectivity listings where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed from the job description.
Understand the H-1B lottery timeline before you apply
TE Connectivity must register you in the H-1B lottery before filing your petition. If you're not already on OPT or another bridging status, plan around the April lottery window and make sure your application timeline accounts for USCIS processing after selection.
Highlight domain-specific technical skills
TE Connectivity sponsors roles tied to specialized knowledge in connectors, sensors, and industrial electronics. Demonstrating expertise in hardware design, signal integrity, or embedded systems strengthens your case that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under H-1B standards.
Build relationships within TE Connectivity's recruiting team
Large electronics manufacturers like TE Connectivity often have dedicated talent acquisition teams for technical hiring. Connecting with their recruiters before a role is posted can give you visibility into upcoming openings where H-1B sponsorship is already part of the headcount plan.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TE Connectivity sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, TE Connectivity sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in technical and engineering roles. The company has an established history of petitioning for H-1B workers, particularly in its hardware, software, and product development functions. Sponsorship availability varies by role and business unit, so confirming with the recruiter early is important.
Which roles and departments at TE Connectivity typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at TE Connectivity is most common in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, and product design. Roles in manufacturing engineering and R&D also appear regularly. Positions that require a specific degree in a technical field are the strongest candidates for H-1B approval under the specialty occupation standard.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at TE Connectivity?
Once TE Connectivity extends an offer to a sponsored candidate, their legal or immigration team files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits the H-1B petition to USCIS. If you're subject to the cap, the process starts with lottery registration in March. TE Connectivity handles the employer-side filings, but you'll need to provide documentation of your degree and work history.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at TE Connectivity?
For cap-subject applicants, the process runs from lottery registration in March through an October 1 start date at the earliest. USCIS standard processing adds several months after petition filing, though premium processing can accelerate the approval decision. If you're transferring from another H-1B employer, TE Connectivity can file a transfer petition and you can begin working once it's received by USCIS.
How do I find H-1B jobs at TE Connectivity that are open to sponsored candidates?
Searching directly on TE Connectivity's careers page is a starting point, but job listings rarely state sponsorship availability explicitly. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from verified H-1B sponsors and lets you filter specifically for TE Connectivity positions backed by confirmed sponsorship history, which reduces time spent on roles that won't move forward for visa candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at TE Connectivity?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
