JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Tax.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Develop and manage financial systems/models and policies.
- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
- Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
- Develop strategies to maximize ROI and meet the company鈥檚 financial objectives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a strong understanding of GAAP and Revenue Recognition within a fast-growing Private Equity Backed organization.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
