Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's frameworks
JPMorganChase expects Program Development Managers to demonstrate structured program governance experience, often using formal methodologies like Agile or PMP. Ensure your resume and credentials explicitly reference these frameworks before you apply, as they're screened early.
Target roles in JPMorganChase's core business lines
Program Development Manager openings at JPMorganChase concentrate heavily in Corporate and Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Technology. Filtering your search to these divisions improves your chances of landing in a team with established international hiring pipelines.
Understand which visa categories JPMorganChase commonly files
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, E-3, and H-1B1 visas for Program Development Managers, plus Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3. Knowing which category fits your nationality and background lets you have an informed conversation with the recruiting team from the outset.
Time your application around the H-1B cap window
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, JPMorganChase must register you with USCIS in March for an October 1 start. Factor this into your job search timeline so you're not left waiting a full year if you miss the registration window.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Program Development Manager roles at JPMorganChase
Visa-sponsored openings at large financial institutions fill quickly and aren't always flagged clearly on general job boards. Search Migrate Mate to filter JPMorganChase Program Development Manager roles specifically by visa type, so you're only seeing positions where sponsorship is confirmed.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
JPMorganChase's internal mobility and compliance teams manage visa filings, but sponsorship terms, including whether they cover PERM or Green Card processing, can vary by division. Ask your recruiter explicitly which sponsorship elements are included before you sign.

Find Program Development Manager at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Program Development Managers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Program Development Managers and has a consistent track record of doing so across multiple business lines. The firm's size and global operations mean it has dedicated immigration support teams to manage the filing process. If you're cap-subject, you'll need to be registered during the March USCIS lottery window for an October start.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Program Development Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Program Development Managers, covering Australian nationals, Chilean and Singaporean nationals, and the broader international candidate pool respectively. For longer-term pathways, the firm also supports Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications, typically initiated after a candidate has been employed for a qualifying period.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Program Development Manager roles?
JPMorganChase typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with many senior roles expecting an MBA or equivalent graduate credential. Hands-on experience managing cross-functional programs in a financial services or large enterprise environment is expected. Certifications like PMP or Agile qualifications strengthen your profile, particularly for roles in Technology and Corporate functions.
How do I apply for Program Development Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can apply directly through JPMorganChase's careers site, but many visa-sponsored roles are easier to identify upfront using Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions where sponsorship is confirmed. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight program governance experience relevant to the specific business line you're targeting, as JPMorganChase recruiters screen by division fit as well as function.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline after receiving an offer from JPMorganChase?
Once you have an offer, JPMorganChase's immigration team works with external counsel to prepare and file your petition. For H-1B transfers from another employer, work can begin immediately upon filing, protecting your status during the 60-day portability window. For new cap-subject petitions, the process runs through USCIS's annual lottery, so confirming your start date eligibility with the recruiter early prevents delays.
