Frame your credentials around consulting delivery frameworks
KPMG evaluates Program Development Managers on structured program governance and client-facing delivery experience. Before applying, document specific methodologies you've led, such as PMO buildouts or capability transformation projects, using language that aligns with professional services environments.
Target KPMG's advisory and transformation practice lines
Program Development Manager openings at KPMG tend to cluster within Advisory and Management Consulting. Filtering by these practice areas rather than the generic job title surfaces roles where immigration sponsorship is most routinely processed and approved by the firm's dedicated mobility team.
Use Migrate Mate to find active KPMG sponsorship roles
KPMG posts Program Development Manager openings across multiple portals, making it easy to miss sponsorship-eligible listings. Migrate Mate filters specifically for KPMG roles open to H-1B and E-3 candidates, so you're only spending time on positions where sponsorship is genuinely on the table.
Clarify sponsorship intent before the offer stage
KPMG's recruiting process can move quickly through final-round interviews before compensation and sponsorship terms are formalized. Raise your visa status directly with the recruiter after an initial screen, not during the offer call, so both sides have aligned expectations well before an I-129 petition timeline applies.
Understand how KPMG's fiscal cycle affects H-1B filing timing
KPMG typically structures H-1B petitions around USCIS's April 1 filing window. If you receive an offer between October and January, confirm whether the firm will file in the upcoming cap season or request a cap-exempt pathway through any affiliated entities, since the answer affects your actual U.S. start date.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation proactively
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for program management roles that could be viewed as general business functions. Gather transcripts, professional certifications, and a detailed position description showing that the role requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field before your employer's immigration counsel begins drafting.

Find Program Development Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Program Development Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Program Development Managers, particularly within its Advisory and Management Consulting practices. The firm has a dedicated global mobility team that manages petitions through the annual USCIS cap season. Roles that require specialized program governance or transformation delivery expertise are generally well-positioned for H-1B sponsorship given the specialty occupation requirements.
How do I apply for Program Development Manager jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal at kpmg.com/us/careers. Search by job function under Advisory or Consulting and filter for Program Development or Program Management titles. You can also browse sponsorship-eligible KPMG listings directly on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles open to international candidates requiring H-1B or E-3 sponsorship, reducing time spent on listings that won't support your visa status.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Program Development Manager roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas most frequently for Program Development Managers, which covers the broadest range of nationalities. Australian citizens may be sponsored under the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and processes more quickly. For longer-term pathways, KPMG has experience with employer-sponsored Green Card routes including EB-2 and EB-3, typically initiated after an employee has been in a role for one to two years.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for Program Development Manager candidates seeking sponsorship?
KPMG typically expects a bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the role, such as business administration, organizational development, or a technical discipline relevant to the practice area. Professional certifications like PMP or relevant consulting credentials strengthen your profile. For H-1B sponsorship specifically, your degree must align closely with the Program Development Manager role as defined in the petition, so a general management background alone may require additional documentation.
How do I navigate the timeline between a KPMG offer and my visa being approved?
If KPMG extends an offer outside of a cap-exempt scenario, your H-1B start date will be October 1 of the upcoming fiscal year, since USCIS petitions are filed in April. That can mean a wait of up to six months between offer and start date. Discuss premium processing with your KPMG recruiter early, as USCIS currently adjudicates premium-processed petitions within 15 business days of receipt, which reduces uncertainty during that window.
