Align your credentials to Deloitte's specialty occupation standard
Program Development Manager roles at Deloitte typically require a degree in business administration, management, or a related field. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation completed before applying so it's ready when the H-1B petition is filed.
Target Deloitte's sector-specific practice areas strategically
Deloitte hires Program Development Managers across Government and Public Services, Technology, and Financial Services practices. Applying within a practice aligned to your industry background strengthens your specialty occupation argument and signals fit to their talent acquisition teams.
Browse open roles using Migrate Mate to filter by sponsorship
Deloitte posts Program Development Manager openings across multiple business units simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to surface active roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing.
Clarify sponsorship intent before your final-round interview
Deloitte's recruiting process for this role often runs through multiple panel interviews. Raise your visa sponsorship need directly with your recruiter after an offer signal, not during early screens, to avoid having the conversation derail your candidacy prematurely.
Understand how Deloitte's LCA filing connects to your start date
For H-1B transfers or new petitions, the DOL-certified Labor Condition Application must be filed and approved before USCIS receives the I-129. Factor in a two-week LCA window when negotiating your start date with Deloitte's HR team.
Position E-3 eligibility prominently if you hold Australian citizenship
Deloitte sponsors the E-3 visa for Australian nationals, which has no lottery and can be filed at any time of year. If you're eligible, flag this in your recruiter conversation early since it removes the H-1B cap uncertainty that can slow hiring decisions.

Find Program Development Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Program Development Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Program Development Manager roles. This position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines because it requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as business administration or management. Deloitte's immigration team handles the petition process, but timing is tied to the annual H-1B cap and April lottery cycle if you need a new cap-subject visa.
How do I apply for Program Development Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by service area and location. Filtering by practice area, such as Government and Public Services or Consulting, narrows results to teams most likely hiring for this function. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Deloitte's open Program Development Manager positions filtered specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility before applying directly.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Program Development Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for this role depending on your nationality, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term immigration. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which bypasses the H-1B lottery. Canadian and Chilean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1. Each category has different filing requirements managed through Deloitte's internal immigration practice.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Program Development Manager candidates?
Deloitte generally looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related discipline, plus several years of experience managing programs or cross-functional initiatives in a professional services or consulting environment. USCIS requires that the degree field directly correlates to the job duties for H-1B qualification, so a background in project management, organizational development, or strategy carries the most weight in both hiring and the petition.
How do I navigate the visa sponsorship timeline after receiving an offer from Deloitte?
Once an offer is extended, Deloitte's immigration team coordinates with an outside counsel firm to file the Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes up to two weeks to certify. The I-129 petition follows and USCIS standard processing runs three to five months, though premium processing can reduce this to 15 business days. Build that timeline into your start date negotiation to avoid gaps between your current status and the approved petition.
