Tailor your resume to Adobe's program language
Adobe's Program Development Manager postings consistently emphasize cross-functional alignment, OKR frameworks, and Adobe product ecosystem familiarity. Mirror that language in your resume to signal direct fit before your visa status ever comes up in the process.
Identify which Adobe team sponsors your visa type
Adobe's sponsorship activity spans multiple business units, but not every hiring team sponsors every visa category equally. Target roles in product, digital media, or enterprise software divisions, where program management headcount and international hiring are most concentrated.
Clarify E-3 eligibility before applying as an Australian
If you hold Australian citizenship, the E-3 visa is processed at a U.S. consulate and doesn't require USCIS approval, which shortens your timeline significantly. Confirm Adobe's HR team understands E-3 mechanics early so there's no confusion with standard H-1B workflows during offer stage.
Front-load the sponsorship conversation at offer stage
Adobe's recruiting process moves quickly once you clear final interviews. Raise visa sponsorship needs before the written offer is drafted so the legal and HR teams can align on your category, whether H-1B, TN, or E-3, without delaying your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe's open program roles
Adobe posts Program Development Manager positions across multiple internal categories, which makes it easy to miss relevant openings. Use Migrate Mate to browse Adobe's sponsored roles in one place and filter by the visa types you're eligible for.
Prepare for PERM requirements if targeting a Green Card
Adobe supports employer-sponsored Green Card pathways, including EB-2 and EB-3, for long-tenured program managers. DOL's PERM process requires documented recruitment before your priority date is established, so align early with your Adobe immigration contact on the expected sponsorship timeline.

Find Program Development Manager at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Program Development Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Program Development Manager roles. Program management is a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, and Adobe has a dedicated immigration team that handles the H-1B petition process, including Labor Condition Application filing with the DOL. If you're subject to the annual H-1B cap, timing your application around the lottery cycle is critical since Adobe typically begins cap-season planning early in the calendar year.
How do I apply for Program Development Manager jobs at Adobe?
Apply directly through Adobe's careers portal and indicate your visa sponsorship needs in the application or during your recruiter screen. You can also browse Adobe's open Program Development Manager roles filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate, which surfaces sponsorship-eligible positions without requiring you to manually review each listing. Adobe's interview process for this function typically involves a recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, and a cross-functional panel focused on program delivery examples.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Program Development Manager roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT or CPT for Program Development Manager roles, depending on your citizenship and current status. Australian nationals are frequently routed through the E-3 category. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status under the USMCA. For longer-term employment, Adobe also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for program managers who have built tenure with the company.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Program Development Manager roles?
Adobe's Program Development Manager openings typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, along with substantial experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a technology environment. Familiarity with Adobe's product suite or digital media ecosystem is a differentiator. Roles that require a specific degree field are essential for visa purposes, since USCIS requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation under H-1B standards.
How do I manage my visa timeline while waiting for an Adobe offer?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you have a defined window to secure employment before your authorization expires, and STEM OPT extensions can provide additional runway if your degree qualifies. For H-1B cap cases, Adobe must file your petition in April for an October start date, so offers finalized after April typically use a different status to bridge the gap. Confirm your current authorized stay on your I-94 record through the CBP portal and communicate your deadline clearly to Adobe's HR team during negotiations.
