Align your degree to Keysight's specialty occupation standard
Keysight's Product Engineer roles typically require a degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a closely related field. USCIS evaluates specialty occupation eligibility by degree-to-role alignment, so a mismatched major, even with strong experience, can complicate your H-1B petition.
Target roles in test and measurement product lines
Keysight's core business is electronic test and measurement equipment. Product Engineer openings tied to oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, or RF test systems align most directly with the company's sponsored hiring patterns and are more likely to move through full immigration support.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Product Engineer roles
Not every Keysight job listing signals sponsorship readiness upfront. Use Migrate Mate to identify Product Engineer positions at Keysight that are actively open to visa sponsorship, saving you time before you invest in tailoring your application materials.
Request LCA filing timing early in offer negotiations
Before accepting an offer, confirm when Keysight's HR team plans to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. The LCA must be certified before USCIS receives your H-1B petition, and delays here directly affect your start date or status transfer window.
Document hands-on hardware validation experience precisely
Keysight Product Engineer roles often involve pre-silicon validation, board-level debugging, or automated test development. When preparing your resume and any support letters, quantify your experience with specific equipment, test environments, or failure analysis methods rather than listing broad responsibilities.
Understand Green Card timing if you're on H-1B cap
If Keysight sponsors your H-1B and you want to pursue permanent residence, the PERM labor certification process under EB-2 or EB-3 typically begins one to two years into employment. Asking your hiring manager about the company's standard Green Card sponsorship timeline during the offer stage helps you plan accordingly.

Find Product Engineer at Keysight Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Keysight Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineers?
Yes, Keysight Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for Product Engineers. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for engineering roles, including those focused on hardware validation, test development, and product qualification. If you receive an offer, confirm the sponsorship scope directly with HR during the offer stage, since individual business units may have different timelines.
How do I apply for Product Engineer jobs at Keysight Technologies?
You can browse and apply for Product Engineer openings at Keysight Technologies through their careers portal. Migrate Mate also lists Keysight roles filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility, which helps you identify the right positions before applying. Tailor your application to reflect Keysight's core focus areas, such as electronic test, signal integrity, or RF measurement systems.
Which visa types does Keysight Technologies use for Product Engineers?
Keysight sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories for Product Engineers. H-1B is the most common path for initial work authorization. For longer-term permanent residence, the company supports employment-based Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, typically initiated through PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor.
What qualifications does Keysight look for in Product Engineers?
Keysight's Product Engineer roles generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a directly related field. Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, automated test systems, or failure analysis is valued. Familiarity with Keysight's own test and measurement platforms, or similar instruments from comparable manufacturers, can strengthen your candidacy significantly.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Keysight Technologies?
The standard H-1B timeline runs from initial offer through DOL Labor Condition Application certification, then USCIS petition filing and adjudication. Standard processing takes three to six months from filing. If you need a faster decision, USCIS offers premium processing that typically returns a decision within 15 business days. Your start date must align with H-1B cap rules if you're subject to the annual lottery.
