Frame your credentials around client-facing advisory work
KPMG's partnerships roles require a specialty occupation foundation. Make sure your degree and experience documentation directly ties to business development, strategic alliances, or professional services. A finance or business degree strengthens your H-1B or E-3 petition considerably.
Target KPMG's sector-aligned partnership teams
KPMG structures its partnership function around industry verticals like financial services, technology, and public sector. Applying to openings that match your sector background increases your chances of clearing internal hiring filters before sponsorship conversations begin.
Confirm LCA filing timing before accepting an offer
KPMG must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B petition reaches USCIS. Ask your KPMG recruiter where the firm is in that process. LCA certification typically takes seven business days and sits on the critical path.
Position your E-3 as the faster path if you're Australian
For Australian citizens, the E-3 has no lottery and can be processed at a U.S. consulate in weeks. KPMG sponsors E-3s for this function. Raising the E-3 option early with your recruiter often accelerates internal approvals from the firm's immigration team.
Understand when PERM becomes relevant for your role
If KPMG extends a permanent sponsorship offer through EB-2 or EB-3, the PERM labor certification process requires DOL to verify no qualified U.S. workers were available. This can add over a year before your I-140 petition is filed, so planning ahead matters.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Not every KPMG Global Partnerships Manager listing confirms visa sponsorship upfront. Use Migrate Mate to filter KPMG openings by visa type so you're only spending time on roles where H-1B, E-3, or Green Card sponsorship is already confirmed.

Find Global Partnerships Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Global Partnerships Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Global Partnerships Manager roles. The firm's immigration team handles petition preparation, including the required Labor Condition Application filed with DOL. Because KPMG participates in the H-1B cap process, timing your application around the April lottery window is important if you're not already in H-1B status.
How do I apply for Global Partnerships Manager jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal, but many sponsored openings are also listed on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers. Before applying, tailor your resume to emphasize stakeholder management, alliance strategy, and any sector expertise relevant to KPMG's industry verticals. Partnerships roles at the firm typically require demonstrating both client relationship depth and cross-functional coordination experience.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Global Partnerships Manager roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for most internationally hired Global Partnerships Managers. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which bypasses the lottery entirely and can be arranged in weeks. For longer-term pathways, KPMG also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which involves PERM labor certification through DOL before the immigrant petition is filed with USCIS.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for Global Partnerships Manager roles?
KPMG's Global Partnerships Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, along with experience managing strategic alliances or client relationships in a professional services context. A background in accounting, consulting, or financial services advisory strengthens your application. For H-1B or E-3 sponsorship, your degree must directly align with the specialty occupation duties of the role.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Global Partnerships Manager at KPMG?
For H-1B, expect three to six months from offer to start date under regular processing, assuming you're selected in the annual lottery. E-3 sponsorship for Australian citizens can move faster, often within four to eight weeks via consular processing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is a separate, longer process that KPMG typically initiates after you've been employed for some time.
