Target roles that align with LMI's core tech focus
LMI primarily sponsors candidates in technology and software disciplines. Focus your applications on roles in software engineering, data analysis, IT consulting, and systems integration, these are where sponsorship support is most consistently available.
Understand which visa types LMI actively uses
LMI sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways. If you're on OPT or CPT, LMI's willingness to work with F-1 students makes it a strong early-career target before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
Factor in LMI's government consulting work when positioning yourself
LMI serves federal agency clients, so roles often require analytical, compliance, or systems expertise. Highlighting clearance eligibility or relevant government-sector experience can strengthen your profile when applying for sponsored positions.
Apply early and allow time for the full sponsorship cycle
LMI's sponsorship process involves employer filings that take time to prepare. For H-1B roles, plan around the April lottery window. Starting conversations with recruiters three to six months in advance significantly improves your chances.
Look for Green Card sponsorship potential in senior roles
LMI has a track record of supporting Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. Senior technical and consulting roles are most likely to come with long-term immigration support, ask about this during the offer stage.
Use Migrate Mate to find LMI openings with verified sponsorship history
Not every job posting makes sponsorship eligibility clear. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, making it easier to confirm LMI roles that are genuinely open to international candidates before applying.
