Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
Loenbro's Engineering roles in consulting and professional services must qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria. Gather transcripts, degree equivalency evaluations, and any professional engineering licenses before outreach, so your credentials map cleanly to the role's requirements.
Target Roles With Defined Technical Scope
Consulting and professional services Engineering positions at Loenbro that involve defined project deliverables, engineering analysis, or design work are stronger H-1B fits than broadly scoped roles. Review job descriptions carefully and prioritize postings that specify a discipline, such as civil, mechanical, or electrical.
Clarify TN Eligibility Early in the Process
If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, TN status may be available for qualifying Engineering roles without the H-1B lottery. Confirm with Loenbro's hiring team that the specific position falls under an approved TN engineering category before advancing through the interview process.
Time Your Application Around OPT Authorization Windows
If you're on F-1 OPT, USCIS allows up to 90 days of unemployment within your authorization period. Targeting Loenbro's Engineering openings early, rather than late in your OPT window, gives both you and the employer time to complete onboarding and initiate any follow-on sponsorship filing.
Ask About the LCA Filing Timeline at Offer Stage
Before signing an offer, confirm when Loenbro plans to file the Labor Condition Application with the DOL and the subsequent I-129 with USCIS. In consulting and professional services, project start dates often drive hiring urgency, and knowing the filing timeline helps you plan your start date realistically.

Does Loenbro sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Loenbro has sponsored H-1B visas for Engineering roles. H-1B sponsorship in consulting and professional services is tied to the role qualifying as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning the position generally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field. Confirming the degree requirement for the specific role you're applying to is the right first step.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Loenbro?
You can browse and apply for Loenbro's Engineering openings through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can identify roles that align with your work authorization.
