Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Business Analyst Jobs at Motorola Solutions Jobs
Align your resume to manufacturing operations
Motorola Solutions BA roles frequently involve supply chain analysis, demand planning, and ERP systems like SAP. Frame your experience around process improvement, production data, or operations metrics rather than generic business analysis to match their manufacturing context.
Target roles in their core product divisions
Focus your applications on Motorola Solutions' Land Mobile Radio and video security segments, where BA demand is consistent. Job postings in these divisions are more likely to involve structured project cycles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements.
Confirm OPT eligibility before your interview stage
Motorola Solutions participates in E-Verify, which is required for F-1 OPT employment authorization. Confirm your STEM OPT extension eligibility with your DSO before your offer stage so you can clearly communicate your authorized work timeline to the recruiter.
Use Migrate Mate to track open BA positions
Business Analyst openings at Motorola Solutions appear and close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for sponsorship-confirmed BA roles at Motorola Solutions so you're applying during active hiring cycles rather than chasing stale postings.
Prepare for the LCA wage tier discussion early
Your H-1B petition requires a Labor Condition Application filed with DOL certifying prevailing wage compliance. For BA roles in manufacturing, understand the wage levels tied to your work location before negotiating your offer so there are no surprises during filing.
Ask directly about PERM timing on internal transfers
If you're targeting a Green Card pathway, ask your recruiter whether the BA role is eligible for employer-sponsored PERM. Motorola Solutions' size means internal transfer policies vary by division, and knowing this before you accept an offer protects your long-term status planning.

Does Motorola Solutions sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes. Motorola Solutions has an active history of filing H-1B petitions for Business Analyst roles. Their BA positions in operations, supply chain, and product support typically meet the specialty occupation standard required by USCIS, particularly where candidates hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field like information systems, business administration, or engineering.
Which visa types does Motorola Solutions commonly use for Business Analyst roles?
Motorola Solutions sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work visa for Business Analysts, and also supports F-1 OPT and STEM OPT for recent graduates. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying BA classifications. For longer-term employees, the company has filed EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through PERM for this function.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at Motorola Solutions?
Applications go through Motorola Solutions' careers portal. Tailor your application materials to their manufacturing and public safety technology context, referencing tools like SAP, Salesforce, or data visualization platforms where applicable. Migrate Mate lists sponsorship-confirmed Business Analyst openings at Motorola Solutions, which makes it easier to identify which roles are actively hiring international candidates.
What qualifications and experience does Motorola Solutions expect for Business Analyst roles?
Most BA postings at Motorola Solutions require a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related field. Practical experience with ERP systems, requirements documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder management is typically expected. Roles supporting manufacturing operations often look for familiarity with supply chain workflows, demand forecasting, or product lifecycle processes in addition to core analytical skills.
How do I plan around the H-1B timeline when targeting a BA role at Motorola Solutions?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS opening registration in March for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date relative to this timeline. STEM OPT extensions give eligible graduates up to 24 additional months, which can bridge the gap if you miss a cap cycle while waiting for lottery selection.
