Job Roles at North Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in North Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with specialty occupation standards
Consulting firms like North typically sponsor H-1B visas for roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Focus your applications on positions where your degree field directly matches the job, project managers, analysts, and technical consultants tend to fit this profile well.
Understand North's consulting hiring cycles
Professional services firms often hire in waves tied to client project demand. Timing your application during active project ramp-up periods, typically early in the calendar year or post-summer, improves your chances of reaching a hiring manager with budget and urgency to sponsor.
Lead with domain expertise, not just willingness to be sponsored
North's clients expect specialized knowledge. Frame your application around the consulting value you bring, industry expertise, analytical skills, or client-facing experience, rather than centering the conversation on your visa needs from the outset.
Research which practice areas North actively recruits for
Consulting firms concentrate sponsorship in their highest-demand practice areas. Identify where North is growing by reviewing recent job postings, then target those verticals. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history to find the right fit.
Prepare for a multi-stage interview process
Professional services firms like North typically run structured interview processes including case-style assessments and multiple stakeholder rounds. Build in enough runway before your visa deadline, a thorough process takes time, and H-1B petitions require early preparation on the employer's side too.
Confirm sponsorship intent early, not at the offer stage
With a measured sponsorship track record, it's important to raise your visa status during the recruiter screening, not after an offer is extended. This ensures North's HR and legal teams are aligned before both sides invest further time in the process.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does North sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, North sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in its consulting and professional services operations. The H-1B is the primary visa type North has used to support international hires. Sponsorship is concentrated in specialty occupation positions where a specific degree background is a genuine job requirement, so aligning your qualifications to the role is essential.
What types of roles at North are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Consulting and professional services firms typically sponsor H-1B visas for roles like management consultants, business analysts, technology consultants, and strategy advisors, where a relevant bachelor's degree or higher is a firm requirement. Generalist or support roles that don't meet the specialty occupation threshold are less likely to qualify for sponsorship at a firm of North's size.
How do I find open jobs at North that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find verified sponsoring employers like North. Rather than sorting through postings that may not reflect actual sponsorship willingness, Migrate Mate lets you filter by companies with a real H-1B filing history, so you can prioritize North and similar firms where sponsorship is documented, not just implied.
How do I approach the application process at North as an international candidate?
Start by identifying roles where your degree and experience match the specialty occupation requirements, then raise your visa status clearly during the initial recruiter conversation. North's consulting hiring process tends to involve multiple rounds, so build in enough time before any visa deadline. Being transparent early helps both sides plan the H-1B petition timeline without last-minute pressure.
Does North sponsor Green Cards or other visa types beyond H-1B?
Based on available sponsorship data, North's activity has been focused on H-1B visas, with no significant Green Card or alternative visa sponsorship on record. If permanent residency sponsorship is a priority for you, it's worth discussing directly with North's recruiting team, as Green Card sponsorship decisions are typically made after an employee has been in an H-1B role for some time.
