Frame your experience around Palantir's dual markets
Palantir operates across government and commercial sectors. Tailor your resume to show operational experience in both regulated environments and fast-moving enterprise contexts, since Business Operations roles often sit at the intersection of these two.
Clarify your visa status before the first screen
Palantir's recruiting process moves quickly. State your visa status and sponsorship need clearly in your application so recruiters can route you to the right hiring team without delays that cost you an offer.
Target roles that align with USCIS specialty occupation criteria
Business Operations titles vary widely. Focus on postings that require a specific degree field such as finance, economics, or engineering. Generalist titles without a degree requirement in a defined field face higher H-1B specialty occupation scrutiny.

Use Migrate Mate to browse verified Business Operations openings at Palantir that explicitly support visa sponsorship, so you're applying to roles where international candidates are already in scope rather than guessing from a generic job board.
Understand the DOL Labor Condition Application timing
Your employer must file a certified LCA with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition to USCIS. Build at least two to three weeks into your expected start date to account for LCA certification before your petition can be filed.

Find Business Operations at Palantir Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Palantir Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Palantir Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. The company has an established sponsorship process and works with immigration counsel to file petitions for qualifying candidates. Your role must meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements, meaning the position needs to require a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or business administration.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Palantir Technologies?
Apply directly through Palantir's careers page, where Business Operations roles are listed with position descriptions and requirements. Disclose your visa sponsorship need in the application or initial recruiter screen. Palantir's process typically includes a phone screen, case-style interviews, and a final-round evaluation. Migrate Mate also lists Palantir's open Business Operations positions filtered specifically for candidates who need visa sponsorship.
Which visa types does Palantir Technologies commonly use for Business Operations roles?
Palantir sponsors several visa categories for Business Operations, including H-1B and H-1B1 for degree-holding professionals, F-1 OPT and CPT for current students and recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations, and J-1 for exchange visitors. Longer-term, Palantir also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for eligible employees in this function.
What qualifications does Palantir Technologies expect for Business Operations roles?
Palantir typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field and demonstrated experience in operational analysis, process improvement, or cross-functional program management. Many Business Operations roles at Palantir require comfort working with data, managing stakeholders across government or enterprise clients, and operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Prior consulting, finance, or enterprise software experience is commonly represented in their hiring.
How do I time my H-1B filing if I'm on OPT and targeting Palantir?
If you're on F-1 OPT, USCIS only accepts H-1B cap-subject petitions during the filing window that opens April 1 each year, with an October 1 start date. You'll need a job offer in place before the lottery registration period in March. If your OPT expires before October 1, a timely filed H-1B petition may extend your work authorization through the cap-gap provision, but confirm your specific dates with your DSO.
