Align your experience with retail operations
Chewy recruits Business Operations candidates with backgrounds in supply chain coordination, vendor performance, or fulfillment center analytics. Frame your resume around measurable process improvements and cross-functional project ownership rather than general administrative work.
Target roles with PERM-eligible pathways
Chewy sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, which require PERM labor certification through DOL. Business Operations positions with clearly defined degree requirements are the strongest candidates for PERM, so prioritize roles with specific educational or technical prerequisites in the job description.
Use Migrate Mate to surface sponsorship-ready openings
Not every Business Operations posting at Chewy explicitly mentions sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring employers and find active Chewy Business Operations roles where your visa type is already supported, saving you from cold applications.
Address the H-1B cap timing in your outreach
If you need H-1B sponsorship and are not already cap-exempt, Chewy would need to file in April for an October 1 start. Raise this timeline early with your recruiter so the offer and LCA filing can be structured around the USCIS lottery registration window.
Prepare a specialty occupation argument for your role
USCIS scrutinizes Business Operations H-1B petitions because the field spans both degree-required and non-degree roles. Document how your specific position requires theoretical and practical application of a specialized field, such as data analytics, supply chain systems, or operations research.

Does Chewy sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Chewy sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. Because these positions can vary in scope, the strongest petitions are for roles with a clear specialty occupation designation, such as operations analyst, supply chain strategist, or vendor performance manager. Confirming the role's degree requirements before applying helps ensure your petition has a solid foundation.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Chewy?
Applications go through Chewy's careers portal, where Business Operations openings are listed by function and location. Before applying, verify that the specific role supports your visa type. Migrate Mate surfaces active Chewy Business Operations postings filtered by sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify the right openings before spending time on an application.
Which visa types does Chewy commonly use for Business Operations roles?
Chewy supports H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for Business Operations positions, along with EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business analyst or management consultant categories. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage.
What qualifications does Chewy expect for Business Operations roles?
Most Business Operations roles at Chewy expect a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations management, or a related analytical field. Experience with data reporting tools, cross-functional project coordination, or vendor and fulfillment operations is frequently cited in job descriptions. Roles with a quantitative or systems focus tend to carry stronger H-1B specialty occupation arguments.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Chewy?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be registered with USCIS in March, with employment starting no earlier than October 1 if selected. That means securing your offer by late February or early March is critical. If you're already on F-1 OPT, you can begin work before the H-1B takes effect, provided your OPT authorization period covers the gap.
