Align your credentials with FDA-regulated environments
PepsiCo's manufacturing roles operate under food safety regulations, so credentials tied to HACCP, GMP, or food-grade production environments carry real weight. Documenting this experience before you apply strengthens both your application and any future visa petition.
Target roles where your engineering specialty matches
PepsiCo hires manufacturing engineers, process engineers, and quality engineers across specific product lines. Applying to roles that directly match your degree field matters for H-1B specialty occupation requirements, so avoid stretching your title beyond what your credentials support.
Browse open manufacturing roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa sponsorship type, so you can surface PepsiCo manufacturing roles that explicitly support H-1B, OPT, or TN candidates without sifting through listings that won't sponsor.
Clarify sponsorship intent before your final interview round
PepsiCo's HR and talent acquisition teams handle sponsorship decisions at the offer stage, not during early interviews. Raise your work authorization needs directly with the recruiter once you reach final rounds so there are no surprises when the offer is drafted.
Prepare for PERM labor certification early if targeting a Green Card
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card paths for manufacturing roles require DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition. PepsiCo initiates this process, but timelines extend well beyond a year, so align your nonimmigrant status expiration dates accordingly.

Find Manufacturing at PepsiCo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PepsiCo sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, PepsiCo sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Manufacturing roles, particularly positions in process engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering where a specific bachelor's degree is required. The role must meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria, meaning a theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge is required to perform the job.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at PepsiCo?
You can apply through PepsiCo's careers portal or browse sponsorship-friendly Manufacturing openings on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa type so you can identify roles actively open to international candidates. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect food and beverage production environments, relevant certifications like HACCP or Six Sigma, and any experience with FDA-regulated manufacturing processes.
Which visa types does PepsiCo commonly use for Manufacturing roles?
PepsiCo uses several visa pathways for Manufacturing hires depending on the candidate's background and nationality. H-1B is the most common for degree-level engineering and quality roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are used for students and recent graduates in STEM manufacturing fields. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican engineers. EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas support permanent residency for long-term hires.
What qualifications does PepsiCo expect for sponsored Manufacturing positions?
Most sponsored Manufacturing roles at PepsiCo require at minimum a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, industrial, or food science engineering. Practical experience in high-volume consumer goods or food production environments is valued, and familiarity with lean manufacturing, GMP, and HACCP protocols strengthens your profile. Roles involving process optimization or capital project management often require several years of relevant industry experience.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline after receiving a PepsiCo Manufacturing offer?
For H-1B roles, PepsiCo must register you in the USCIS annual lottery, which runs in March, with employment starting no earlier than October 1 if selected. If you're on OPT, your employer can file a cap-gap extension to bridge your status. TN candidates can begin work faster since TN status can be obtained at a port of entry without USCIS processing. Coordinate closely with PepsiCo's immigration counsel once an offer is extended.
