Responsibilities

- Provide regular, high-signal status updates to leadership.
- Coordinate milestones, dependencies, and handoffs across Access, PD3/ProFound, DPR, and Data Access.
- Help lead Charged Access operational coordination including project tracking, risk logs, stakeholder follow-ups as the program scales.
- Own the NEA–Support operational relationship: priority alignment, joint initiative tracking, and communication cadence.
- Run retros after complex launches and fold learnings back into processes.
- Design and govern repeatable processes for how integrations and migrations are scoped, planned, executed, and launched.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in program management, technical operations, or a similar cross-functional operations role.
- Proven track record running complex, multi-stakeholder programs with tight timelines.
- Strong organizational skills and experience building program artifacts (timelines, trackers, risk logs).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical details into clear narratives for different audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and high-pressure environments.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams.

Frame your PM credentials for fintech
Plaid's Program Manager roles center on financial data infrastructure and API integrations. Tailor your resume to highlight experience coordinating technical programs in regulated industries, not just general project management, before you apply.
Start your OPT application timeline early
If you're on F-1 OPT, USCIS recommends applying up to 90 days before your program end date. Coordinate your Plaid offer timeline accordingly so your work authorization is active before your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to find active Plaid openings
Plaid's Program Manager postings move quickly and vary by product area. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Plaid roles that explicitly support visa sponsorship so you're only applying where there's a confirmed path.
Prepare for the LCA before your offer closes
For H-1B transfers or new petitions, Plaid's HR team must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your I-129. Understanding this sequence helps you ask the right questions during offer negotiation and avoid start-date surprises.
Demonstrate cross-functional scope in interviews
Plaid Program Manager interviews assess how you've driven alignment across engineering, legal, and compliance stakeholders. Concrete examples of managing ambiguous, multi-team technical programs carry more weight than credentials alone.

Find Program Manager at Plaid JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Plaid sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Plaid sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The process requires Plaid to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit an I-129 petition to USCIS on your behalf. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, timing your application to the annual lottery window is essential. Transfers from an existing H-1B are possible and don't require the lottery.
Which visa types does Plaid commonly use for Program Manager roles?
Plaid supports H-1B, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for program management positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are most common for candidates transitioning out of graduate programs in technical fields. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B is the primary long-term pathway for most international candidates in this function.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Plaid?
You can find and apply for Program Manager roles at Plaid through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions that support visa sponsorship. Plaid's hiring process for Program Managers typically involves a recruiter screen, a technical program management case study or take-home, and a series of cross-functional interviews. Aligning your application materials to Plaid's fintech infrastructure focus strengthens your candidacy from the first round.
What qualifications does Plaid expect for Program Manager candidates?
Plaid's Program Manager roles generally require experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs, often in fintech, payments, or API-driven product environments. A background coordinating between engineering, compliance, and product teams is strongly valued. For roles requiring PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, your qualifications must align with the job requirements defined in the DOL filing, so accurate resume representation matters throughout the process.
How do I plan my timeline for visa sponsorship at Plaid?
Timeline depends on your current status. F-1 OPT candidates should apply to USCIS up to 90 days before their program end date. H-1B cap-subject candidates must align start dates with the October 1 fiscal year. PERM-based Green Card processes can take one to two years or longer depending on your country of birth and priority date. Starting conversations with Plaid's HR team early gives you the best chance of aligning offer timing with your authorization window.
