Who We Are
At Platform Science, we’re working to connect everything that moves. Founded in 2015, we are an open IoT platform that partners with innovative fleets, application developers, vehicle manufacturers, and equipment providers in the transportation industry to deliver revolutionary solutions to supply chain professionals across the globe. Our employees are an engaging, diverse group of people who believe in the power of great ideas. We hire people with different experiences and perspectives to build a company culture that fuels growth through innovation. We value thoughtful actions and empathy for others. We approach challenges with resiliency and creativity, while encouraging transparency because, no matter our backgrounds or responsibilities, we are one team.
About The Role
As the Global Total Rewards Manager, you are the custodian of Platform Science’s compensation integrity. You will manage the day-to-day execution of our global rewards programs across North America, LATAM, and Europe. Your primary objective is to ensure that our $100M+ labor investment is administered with 100% accuracy, providing the foundational data that allows our leadership team to make strategic, high-stakes decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Technical Execution: Lead the annual merit, bonus, and incentive cycles. You are responsible for the end-to-end integrity of our Workbooks, ensuring 100% accuracy in formulas, eligibility, and budget allocations before they reach the Finance team.
- Data Stewardship: Maintain our global job architecture and salary ranges within Workday. You will ensure that our data is the "Single Source of Truth" for the entire organization.
- M&A Support: Execute the tactical mapping of compensation for newly acquired teams, ensuring a smooth and error-free transition into Platform Science’s unified "One Team" structure.
- Compliance Oversight: Manage global pay transparency, FLSA, and retirement plan audits (401k/RRSP) to ensure we are 100% compliant in every jurisdiction where we operate.
- Vendor & System Optimization: Act as the point person for all benefit vendors and HRIS compensation modules, streamlining enrollment and resolving administrative bottlenecks independently.
- Precision First: You have an "Accountant’s eye" for detail. You catch errors before they leave your desk, and your work never requires a "re-do" by cross-functional teams.
- Proactive Ownership: You do not wait for a "follow-up." You manage your project timelines aggressively, providing regular "Pulse Reports" to leadership on the status of critical deadlines.
- Analytical Independence: You can take raw data from multiple global sources and independently turn it into clean, actionable insights for the CFO and HR leadership.
Experience
- 7+ years of Global Total Rewards experience, with a focus on core compensation administration and benefits management.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
- Ability to work independently and partner with internal stakeholders when necessary.
- Financial Fluency: Past experience in Accounting or Finance is a significant advantage. You must understand the "math" behind a P&L to manage compensation budgets effectively.
- System Expert: Power-user status in ADP, AON Radford, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex nested formulas, and data modeling are second nature).
- Communication: Ability to explain complex benefit or pay structures to employees and managers in a clear, empathetic, yet authoritative manner.
- Certification: CCP or CBP (or progress toward them) is highly desired.

Job Roles at Platform Science Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Platform Science Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and product roles first
Platform Science's sponsorship history is concentrated in technical disciplines. Focus your applications on software engineering, data, and product roles where the company has an established track record of supporting international candidates through the visa process.
Understand the connected vehicle niche before applying
Platform Science operates at the intersection of fleet management software and IoT hardware. Demonstrating familiarity with enterprise mobility, telematics, or transportation technology will differentiate your application and signal genuine fit beyond just visa eligibility.
Confirm sponsorship eligibility early in the process
Because Platform Science sponsors selectively rather than at high volume, ask the recruiter directly about sponsorship availability for the specific role during the first conversation. This avoids investing time in a process that won't support your visa type.
Use verified sponsorship data to prioritize your search
Rather than guessing which companies will sponsor, use a platform with real filing history to guide your outreach. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus on companies like Platform Science with a documented track record.
Align your application timeline with H-1B cap deadlines
If you need H-1B sponsorship, work backward from the April lottery registration window. Securing an offer from Platform Science by late winter gives the company enough runway to file on your behalf before the annual cap cycle closes.

Does Platform Science sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Platform Science sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established history of supporting international candidates in technical roles through the H-1B process. Sponsorship is selective rather than high-volume, so confirming availability for your specific role early in the recruitment process is a practical first step.
Which visa types does Platform Science sponsor?
Platform Science sponsors H-1B visas and supports Green Card sponsorship for eligible employees. The company also works with candidates on F-1 OPT and TN status. If you already have work authorization through one of these pathways, that can simplify the initial hiring conversation before pursuing long-term sponsorship.
Which departments or roles at Platform Science are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Platform Science is concentrated in technical functions, particularly software engineering, data engineering, and product development. These roles align with the company's core business in fleet management and connected vehicle software. Candidates with backgrounds in enterprise mobility, IoT, or cloud infrastructure are well-positioned to find a sponsorship-eligible opening.
How do I find open visa-sponsoring roles at Platform Science?
The most reliable approach is to search specifically for roles confirmed to offer sponsorship rather than applying broadly and asking later. Migrate Mate lists Platform Science alongside other verified sponsors, so you can filter by visa type and find roles where sponsorship is already confirmed. This saves time and avoids companies that list positions but don't sponsor.
How do I approach the application process at Platform Science as an international candidate?
Lead with your technical qualifications and industry knowledge before raising visa requirements. Platform Science operates in a specialized niche, so demonstrating fluency with fleet technology or enterprise software signals genuine fit. Once you have recruiter interest, address your visa status clearly and early, and clarify whether your current authorization, such as OPT or TN, can bridge to H-1B sponsorship down the line.
