Tailor your resume to healthcare administration
PruittHealth's Administrative Assistants work in clinical environments handling patient records, scheduling, and compliance documentation. Highlighting experience with healthcare-specific tools like EHR systems or HIPAA-regulated workflows will distinguish your application from general office candidates.
Target facility-level postings not just corporate listings
PruittHealth operates facilities across multiple states, and Administrative Assistant openings are often posted at the individual facility level. Search by state or metro area to surface roles that may not appear in broad national searches.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsorship-confirmed openings
Not every PruittHealth posting explicitly states visa sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to browse Administrative Assistant roles at PruittHealth that are confirmed to support sponsorship, saving you from applying to positions that won't move forward.
Align your OPT start date with hiring timelines
PruittHealth's healthcare facilities run on operational calendars tied to patient census and staffing needs. If you're on F-1 OPT, request your EAD card from USCIS at least 90 days before your program end date so your authorization is in hand when an offer comes.
Understand the PERM timeline for Green Card sponsorship
If PruittHealth is sponsoring you through EB-2 or EB-3, the PERM labor certification process through DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before USCIS petition filing. Clarify at the offer stage whether sponsorship begins immediately or after a tenure period.

Find Administrative Assistant at PruittHealth JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PruittHealth sponsor H-1B visas for Administrative Assistants?
Administrative Assistant roles at PruittHealth generally do not qualify for H-1B sponsorship because H-1B is restricted to specialty occupations requiring a specific bachelor's degree in a directly related field. PruittHealth's documented sponsorship for this role focuses on employment-based Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 categories, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas.
How do I apply for Administrative Assistant jobs at PruittHealth?
Applications go through PruittHealth's careers portal, where roles are listed by facility location and job type. Because openings are distributed across many facilities, searching by state or region yields more complete results than searching broadly. You can also browse visa-sponsorship-confirmed Administrative Assistant postings at PruittHealth through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles specifically flagged for sponsorship eligibility.
Which visa types does PruittHealth commonly use for Administrative Assistant sponsorship?
PruittHealth sponsors Administrative Assistants through F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for students in their authorized training periods, TN visas for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible administrative occupations, and employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories for permanent residency pathways. The right visa depends on your nationality, current status, and the specific role.
What qualifications does PruittHealth expect for Administrative Assistant roles?
PruittHealth's Administrative Assistants typically support clinical and operational staff in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. Relevant experience in healthcare administration, familiarity with medical records or scheduling software, and knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements strengthen your candidacy considerably. A background in long-term care or post-acute healthcare environments is particularly valued given where these roles sit within the organization.
How do I estimate the timeline from application to work authorization at PruittHealth?
Timeline depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT requires USCIS to process your EAD, which takes up to 90 days, so apply before your program ends. TN status can be obtained at a port of entry in a single day for eligible Canadians. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship involves DOL's PERM process followed by USCIS petition review, which combined can take two years or more depending on your priority date and country of birth.
