Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Operations Jobs at TE Connectivity Jobs
Align Your Credentials to Manufacturing Contexts
TE Connectivity's operations roles often sit inside precision manufacturing or connector assembly environments. Frame your resume around process improvement, yield optimization, or lean manufacturing experience so your background maps directly to electronics hardware production workflows.
Target Roles That Match Your Visa Category
TE Connectivity sponsors both H-1B and TN visas, which have different occupational requirements. TN-eligible Canadians and Mexicans in industrial or manufacturing engineering can often move faster than H-1B candidates, so confirm your classification before applying to shorten your timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Operations Positions
TE Connectivity posts operations roles across multiple locations with varying sponsorship needs. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for visa-sponsored operations openings so you're only spending time on positions already open to international candidates.
Prepare Your OPT Timeline Before Interviews Start
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before your first interview. TE Connectivity's hiring cycle for operations roles can run several months, and a tight OPT expiration date without a STEM extension planned may complicate an otherwise strong candidacy.
Understand Where PERM Fits Your Long-Term Path
For operations professionals targeting permanent residence, TE Connectivity has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 petitions. The DOL's PERM labor certification process requires the employer to document recruitment efforts, so ask the hiring team early about their internal immigration counsel and typical green card timelines.
Negotiate Petition Timing Into Your Start Date
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window, discuss a start date or bridge arrangement with your employer to avoid a gap in work authorization while USCIS processes your petition.

Find Operations at TE Connectivity JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TE Connectivity sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, TE Connectivity sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Operations positions. Roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, typically requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, supply chain, or a related technical field, are the strongest candidates for H-1B sponsorship. Confirm the specific role's requirements with the recruiter early in the process, since not all operations titles qualify equally under USCIS specialty occupation criteria.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at TE Connectivity?
Applications go through TE Connectivity's careers portal, where you can filter by function and location. Before applying, confirm the role explicitly supports visa sponsorship, since not every operations posting does. Migrate Mate curates visa-sponsored operations openings at TE Connectivity in one place, so you can identify the right positions before submitting and avoid wasting time on roles that won't support your immigration status.
Which visa types does TE Connectivity commonly use for Operations hires?
TE Connectivity has sponsored H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT for operations roles, and has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employees. TN visas are often faster for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering categories. F-1 OPT candidates, particularly those eligible for STEM OPT extensions, are a common pipeline into full H-1B sponsorship within the company.
What qualifications does TE Connectivity expect for Operations roles?
Most mid-level and senior operations roles at TE Connectivity expect a bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, connector systems, or precision assembly environments carries significant weight. Familiarity with lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or ERP systems like SAP is commonly listed in job descriptions. For H-1B sponsorship, the role must demonstrably require a degree in a specific field, so ensure your credentials align precisely.
How do I manage immigration timing when pursuing an Operations role at TE Connectivity?
The H-1B cap filing window opens in March each year for an October 1 start. If you receive an offer after that window closes, you and your employer need to plan a bridge arrangement, such as maintaining F-1 OPT or cap-exempt status, until the next cycle. USCIS premium processing is available for H-1B petitions and can reduce adjudication to roughly 15 business days, which helps when start date timing is tight.
