Frame Your PM Portfolio Around Marketplace Products
Zillow evaluates PM candidates on experience owning two-sided marketplace features, not just product delivery. Quantify your impact on buyer or seller workflows, search ranking, or listing monetization to match the domain language hiring managers use internally.
Confirm LCA Postings Before Your Interview Loop
Before your final rounds, check the DOL's flag system for active Labor Condition Applications tied to Zillow's Seattle and San Francisco offices. An open LCA in your target location confirms a live sponsorship pipeline, not just a stated policy.
Target Roles Tied to Core Revenue Products
Product managers on Zillow's Premier Agent, rentals, or mortgage platforms are closer to revenue and carry stronger internal headcount justification. These teams have historically moved faster through offer approvals, including the additional steps required for sponsored candidates.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Roles by Visa Type
Search Migrate Mate to filter Zillow's Manager, Product Management openings by the visa types you hold or are eligible for. This narrows your list to positions where sponsorship is both offered and matched to your specific immigration status.
Negotiate Offer Timing Around Your I-94 Expiration
If you're changing status from a dependent visa or expiring OPT, your I-94 end date sets the hard deadline for when USCIS must approve your petition. Build at least 90 days of buffer into your start date discussion with Zillow's recruiting team.

Find Manager, Product Management at Zillow JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zillow sponsor H-1B visas for Manager, Product Managements?
Yes. Zillow sponsors H-1B visas for Manager, Product Management roles and has done so across both its Seattle headquarters and other office locations. Product management sits squarely within the specialty occupation definition USCIS requires for H-1B eligibility. Candidates should confirm the specific team's timeline with the recruiting team, since offer timing relative to the April H-1B cap window affects when you can start.
How do I apply for Manager, Product Management jobs at Zillow?
Apply directly through Zillow's careers portal or browse open Manager, Product Management positions filtered by visa sponsorship availability on Migrate Mate. Zillow's PM hiring process typically includes a recruiter screen, a product sense interview, an execution or estimation round, and a cross-functional leadership panel. Preparing a structured case study from a marketplace or consumer product context will be the most relevant preparation for the role.
Which visa types does Zillow commonly use for Manager, Product Management roles?
Zillow supports several work authorization pathways for this role category, including H-1B, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, and J-1 for eligible exchange visitors. For candidates seeking permanent residence, Zillow has a track record of sponsoring EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions for product leadership roles, which typically begin with PERM labor certification filed through the DOL.
What qualifications does Zillow expect for a Manager, Product Management role?
Zillow typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, several years of product management experience, and demonstrated ownership of consumer-facing or data-driven products. For manager-level roles, cross-functional leadership experience and comfort with ambiguous marketplace problems carry significant weight. Prior experience in real estate technology, two-sided marketplaces, or financial products aligned to the home-buying journey is a differentiator.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Zillow PM role?
Timeline depends heavily on which visa applies to your situation. H-1B cap filings follow USCIS's fixed April lottery window, with standard approval by October 1 and premium processing available for a faster decision. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border with a confirmed offer letter. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through DOL typically adds 12 to 24 months before the I-140 immigrant petition stage begins.
