Job Summary
The WTCE Program Coordinator II provides operational coordination and day-to-day support for the delivery of Workforce Training & Continuing Education (WTCE) programs in Nuclear, Nuclear Quality Assurance/Quality Control (NQA/QA/QC), and Civil Construction.
Working closely with the Program Manager, instructors, industry partners, students, and other WTCE staff, this position coordinates the operational activities necessary to successfully deliver high-quality courses, customized contract training, certifications, workshops, and other workforce development programs.
The Program Coordinator II is responsible for course scheduling, enrollment support, instructor coordination, training logistics, facilities and equipment coordination, documentation, data tracking, reporting, and other operational activities. Due to the technical and highly regulated nature of several assigned program areas, this position places particular emphasis on accuracy, documentation, recordkeeping, compliance with established processes, and attention to detail.
This position supports the Program Manager in ensuring programs meet the workforce needs of regional employers while achieving enrollment, quality, customer service, and financial goals.
This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon available funding.

Typical Job Functions
- Provide operational coordination and day-to-day support for Nuclear, NQA/QA/QC, Civil Construction, and other assigned WTCE courses and programs, working closely with the Program Manager to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate all aspects of course delivery, including schedules, working with PM’s and instructors, facilities, equipment, materials, rosters, enrollment requirements, and other logistics for open enrollment, customized, and contract training.
- Develop and maintain processes, procedures, checklists, and timelines to support consistent, efficient, and high-quality program delivery.
- Coordinate new and existing courses, workshops, industry events, and customized training, including activities conducted at CEI and employer or off-site locations.
- Maintain accurate student, instructor, course, certification, and training records, with particular attention to the documentation and recordkeeping requirements associated with nuclear and quality-related training.
- Manage program information within WTCE registration systems, learning management systems, databases, and other technology used for course delivery, tracking, and reporting.
- Provide student and customer support, including registration, course communications, training requirements, schedules, certifications, and assistance navigating available workforce training opportunities.
- Coordinate facilities, equipment, supplies, instructional materials, personal protective equipment, and other resources necessary for successful course delivery.
- Collect and maintain program data, including enrollment, completion, customer satisfaction, revenue, and expenditures; provide information and analysis to the Program Manager to support program and financial decision-making.
- Support the Program Manager with industry partnerships, advisory boards, employer meetings, marketing and outreach, grants, contracts, and other activities that support program growth and success.
- Identify operational issues and recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, customer service, and overall program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with WTCE staff, College departments, instructors, students, employers, and industry partners to provide responsive service and ensure College policies and program requirements are followed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical education/certification from an accredited professional technical school or program and a minimum of three years of professional experience in nuclear, quality assurance/quality control, construction, engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, workforce training, or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrated project coordination or project management skills, including experience coordinating multiple schedules, activities, events, training programs, or projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage detailed documentation, records, timelines, and processes with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize registration, database, learning management, and other information systems.
- Ability to work effectively with technical professionals, instructors, students, employers, and community partners.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI does not sponsor Visas).
