Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools; coordinate construction schedules with subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage project budgets through Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or ProCore; monitor costs and implement cost control measures.
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project progress and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure safety protocols are followed; conduct regular site inspections using Civil 3D or Bluebeam for plan verification.
• Manage teams in a construction management role by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering effective communication across all project stakeholders.
• Utilize construction management software such as Prolog or Primavera P6 for project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to all construction regulations and safety standards; implement best practices for environmental sustainability where applicable.
• Facilitate effective project communication through detailed reports, meetings, and updates to keep all parties informed of progress and issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on civil or heavy civil work.
• Strong proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite, and other construction management tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and perform accurate cost estimating.
• Solid understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, blueprint reading (schematics), contracts administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on construction site experience with a thorough understanding of construction plans and technical schematics.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in fast-paced environments; strong time management abilities are essential.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), OSHA safety certifications or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,200.00 per month
