COO Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a coo job in Dallas?
The most direct path is targeting Dallas's dense concentration of corporate headquarters and regional offices in sectors like financial services, healthcare systems, logistics, and technology. Candidates who stand out typically bring P&L ownership experience at scale, familiarity with high-growth or turnaround environments, and local executive networks built through groups like the Dallas Regional Chamber or industry-specific CEO and CFO roundtables. Uptown, the Platinum Corridor, and Las Colinas are where most searches originate.
Which companies hire coos in Dallas?
Companies currently hiring coos in Dallas include CyrusOne, Oscar Health, and CVS Health, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas attracts a wide range of employers, from Fortune 500 headquarters and large regional health systems to private equity-backed mid-market companies and fast-scaling technology firms.
Are there remote coo jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though remote coo roles are less common than in purely analytical functions since the position typically requires close coordination with leadership teams, operational staff, and on-site facilities. About 30% of coo openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with hybrid arrangements most prevalent in technology and professional services firms headquartered along the North Dallas Tollway.
How can I get a coo job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is moving into a director of operations or VP of operations role first, which many mid-market companies and growing healthcare or logistics firms in the area use as a direct pipeline to the COO seat. Dallas private equity portfolio companies and regional health networks frequently promote from within, so targeting those employer types and demonstrating cross-functional project leadership gives candidates the strongest local edge.
Which industries hire the most coos in Dallas?
Most coo openings in Dallas sit in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Retail, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas's role as a national hub for corporate relocations, a major healthcare delivery market, and a growing technology and fintech center keeps demand for operational leadership consistently high across those sectors.
