Candidates who break in typically move up from inside sales, business development representative, or account manager positions at Wilmington-based financial institutions, pharmaceutical firms in the Wilmington corridor, or technology companies with Delaware offices.
How much do corporate account executives make in Delaware?
Corporate account executives in Delaware earn a median of about $62,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $43,420 for the lowest 10% to over $123,260 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire corporate account executives in Delaware?
Delaware corporate account executive roles are posted by JPMorganChase, Solenis, and Epic and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of financial services headquarters and life sciences companies in the Wilmington area makes it a reliable source of enterprise sales openings year-round.
Which Delaware cities have the most corporate account executive jobs?
Wilmington, Newark, and New Castle hold the most corporate account executive openings in Delaware. Wilmington dominates because it is home to major bank and credit card headquarters, regional pharmaceutical operations, and technology services firms, while Newark and Dover contribute openings tied to university-affiliated businesses and state government contractors that need enterprise account coverage.
Are there remote corporate account executive jobs in Delaware?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 31% of corporate account executive openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of the role centers on video calls, CRM work, and digital communication rather than daily on-site presence. The portions most commonly done remotely are pipeline management, virtual discovery calls, and proposal development, while in-person executive briefings and on-site client visits still require regional travel.
