ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is for a 2027 Summer Internship which will last approximately 12 weeks.
- Agronomy and/or Operations focused internship to learn the ins and out of a Nutrien Ag Solutions retail location
- Have direct responsibility relating to tissue sampling, soil sampling, sales and/or other related tasks at the location
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year Higher Education degree program in Agriculture or a related program with an interest in Agriculture
- Must have a graduation date of August 2027 or later
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The salary range for this role, in Sak Centre, MN location, is between $16.00 - $20.00. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary. Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.

Can I work in the field at multiple client sites while on CPT?
CPT authorization covers a specific employer, not individual client locations. Working across multiple client sites for the same authorized employer is generally fine, but your I-20 must reflect that employer's name and primary address. If the role requires you to work as a contractor placed at a third-party client, confirm with your DSO whether that arrangement qualifies as the same employer under SEVP rules.
How do I find Field Account Manager employers who hire F-1 students on CPT?

Does full-time CPT affect my OPT eligibility for a post-graduation Field Account Manager role?
Twelve months or more of full-time CPT eliminates your OPT eligibility entirely. If you're planning to use OPT after graduation to continue in a Field Account Manager role while pursuing H-1B sponsorship, track your cumulative full-time CPT days carefully. Part-time CPT, defined by SEVP as fewer than 20 hours per week, doesn't count against your OPT entitlement regardless of total duration.
