Job Description
As a Marketing Manager II for Lifecycle & CRM Strategy at Care.com, you are a strategist at heart — someone who loves solving problems, figuring out exactly how to speak to customers, and driving real business impact. You will own an end-to-end lifecycle strategy across email, push, SMS, in-app, and embedded messaging, directly impacting how families find care. You're energized by a complex problem, aren't afraid to dig into the data to find the answer, and know how to bring others along for the ride. You love presenting findings, celebrating wins with the broader team, and building the kind of cross-functional relationships that make ambitious work possible. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and communicate with confidence across all levels of an organization — this is the role for you.
End-to-end lifecycle journey management:
- Own the lifecycle marketing strategy for various journeys and campaigns across all channels — managing deadlines and timelines, keeping stakeholders and teammates in close coordination, and driving campaigns across the finish line
- Own campaign launch communications to leadership and peers, and lead performance follow-ups — translating results into clear, actionable takeaways that inform the next iteration
- Maintain up-to-date journey maps for your owned audiences — tracking creative changes, subject lines, and snapshot data to ensure accuracy and alignment across the team
Testing and experimentation:
- Design iterative experimentation plans for 20+ existing lifecycle & behavioral journeys, analyzing results and developing actionable insights to continuously optimize targeting and personalization
- Stay on top of industry trends and evolving best practices to ensure campaigns are always improving and informed by what's working across the landscape
Technical environment & ways of working:
- Operate within a highly technical organization where deep data fluency is expected — you should know your data inside and out
- Understand how data flows into Iterable via our data warehouse or custom events, and partner with Product and Engineering on technical requirements for your projects
- Bring a natural curiosity to problem-solving, proactively catching errors and discrepancies before they impact performance
Data & Analytics Project Management
- Bring a strong background in data and analytics, working closely with the ADI team to maintain tight alignment across projects, Tableau optimizations, and data accessibility and reliability for CRM use cases
- Support data investigations and assist team members with QA across Tableau, Iterable, and Snowflake — helping resolve underlying data issues and flagging discrepancies to the team as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of lifecycle, CRM or retention marketing experience and end-to-end campaign management - from conception to execution and everything in between.
- A dynamic and critical thinker who understands the broader macro view of business objectives, but skilled at managing detailed projects to completion
- You can lead with influence, communicate your ideas with clarity, and present findings and wins confidently to leadership and the broader organization on a regular basis.
- Strong project management background; experience collaborating across multiple departments to execute projects.
- Ability to work quickly and independently while under deadline pressure and follow through on assignments.
- You thrive in an agile, test-and-learn environment, you’re curious and inquisitive by nature and can advocate for—and adopt— new marketing solutions as needed.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making; hands-on experience with data reporting platforms such as Tableau or Amplitude required.
- Must have experience working within marketing automation software such as Iterable or Braze
- Nice to have familiarity with automation, AI, and machine learning features within CRM tools to improve personalization and operational efficiency
- BA/BS required

Mid Level CRM Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level crm specialist job?
Position yourself around ownership, not just execution. Highlight campaigns or automation workflows you led from brief to results, metrics you moved, and decisions you made without waiting for direction. Tailor your resume to show platform depth, whether that is Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM, and lead with outcomes in every bullet. Recruiters at this level are screening for candidates who can run a project, not just support one.
Which companies hire mid level crm specialists?
Companies hiring mid level crm specialists right now include Deloitte, Abbott, and ASC Engineered Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this experience level, hiring covers growth-stage tech firms, large retail and e-commerce brands, financial services companies, and healthcare organizations, all of which rely on CRM platforms to manage customer relationships at scale and need specialists who can work independently inside those systems.
Are there remote mid level crm specialist jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are widely available at this level. About 45% of mid level crm specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of this work is platform-based and location-agnostic. Fully remote roles tend to appear more often at companies with distributed marketing or revenue operations teams, while hybrid arrangements are common at larger organizations with established offices.
How do I move up to a mid level crm specialist role?
Moving from entry level into a mid level crm specialist role comes from accumulating demonstrated ownership over time. In your first few years, focus on going deeper into one or two CRM platforms, volunteering to lead small projects rather than just executing tasks, and documenting the results you drive. Building skills in segmentation, lifecycle automation, and reporting, then connecting those to business outcomes, is what separates candidates ready for mid level responsibilities from those still in a support role.
Which industries hire the most mid level crm specialists?
Mid Level crm specialist roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Investment & Asset Management, and Accounting & Auditing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to drive the most hiring at this level because they manage large customer databases, run complex lifecycle marketing programs, and need specialists who can operate CRM tools independently rather than relying on constant guidance from senior team members.
