Customer Marketing Lead Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer marketing lead in Texas?
Most customer marketing lead roles in Texas require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business alongside several years of hands-on marketing experience. Texas does not issue a state license for this role, so employers focus on demonstrated campaign results, familiarity with CRM and automation tools, and a portfolio showing customer-focused program ownership. Building experience in demand generation, customer success enablement, or lifecycle marketing at a Texas-based company is the most direct path.
How much do customer marketing leads make in Texas?
Customer marketing leads in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire customer marketing leads in Texas?
Employers hiring customer marketing leads in Texas right now include Apple, Everyday Dose, and Hitek, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's dense concentration of enterprise technology firms, financial services companies, and fast-growing SaaS startups means hiring activity for this role stays consistent across multiple major metros throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most customer marketing lead jobs?
Austin, Houston, and Dallas have the most customer marketing lead openings in Texas. Austin drives a large share of postings due to its established SaaS and tech ecosystem, Dallas attracts financial services and enterprise software employers, and Houston's energy and healthcare sectors generate steady demand for customer marketing professionals with industry-specific experience.
Are there remote customer marketing lead jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields, because customer marketing work is largely desk-based and output-driven rather than location-dependent. About 0% of customer marketing lead openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting broader tech-sector flexibility in the state. The most remote-friendly sub-areas are email lifecycle programs and content-driven customer advocacy, while roles tied closely to in-person customer events or executive briefing centers tend to require an office presence.
How can I get hired as a customer marketing lead in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a customer success, demand generation, or marketing coordinator role at a Texas-based tech or SaaS company, where cross-team exposure to customer programs is common. Large Austin and Dallas employers often post associate or program coordinator titles that sit directly below the lead level and serve as on-ramps. Building a portfolio that shows even one end-to-end customer campaign, a case study series, or a referral program you helped design gives you a concrete edge when competing for your first lead-level role.
Where can I find and apply to customer marketing lead jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to customer marketing lead jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings updated in real time. Find roles that fit your experience and location, then apply directly to each one without any additional steps.
