Most data management & strategy - manager roles in Florida start with a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or business analytics, often supplemented by a master's degree for senior positions. Florida employers typically look for candidates who have progressed through analyst or data engineer roles before moving into management. Certifications such as the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from DAMA International carry weight in Florida's financial services and healthcare hiring markets and can accelerate advancement into management without a graduate degree.

Companies currently hiring data management & strategy - managers in Florida include AJAIA, Orlando Health, and DoorDash, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Florida's concentration of financial institutions, defense contractors, and large hospital networks means demand for this role runs consistently year-round across multiple industries.
Which Florida cities have the most data management & strategy - manager jobs?

Miami's dense financial services and international business sectors drive strong demand there, while Tampa's growing technology and healthcare hubs and Orlando's mix of hospitality analytics and defense contractors account for steady hiring across those markets.
