About the Role: The Senior Business Analyst (Innovation) plays a critical role by leveraging data-driven insights, business analysis, and innovative solution design. This position focuses on identifying opportunities for process improvement, service enhancement, and digital transformation through the analysis of complex data, business processes, and stakeholder needs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders, to translate business requirements into effective solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will support the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative initiatives, analytics capabilities, and technology-enabled solutions that drive organizational performance. Ultimately, this role contributes to strategic decision-making and the advancement of healthcare services through innovation, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, innovation, solution design, or related roles within healthcare, social services, or a regulated environment.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with complex datasets and business processes.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and data governance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or advanced data modeling.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Professional certification in Business Analysis, Project Management, Data Analytics, Healthcare IT, Lean Six Sigma, or Design Thinking (e.g., CBAP, PMP, CAP, CPHIMS).

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business, clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and service enhancement.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications for innovation initiatives and technology solutions.
• Analyze healthcare and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative solutions, digital tools, and process improvements that enhance service delivery and organizational performance.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and data governance standards.
• Research emerging technologies and industry best practices, while facilitating stakeholder engagement, change management, and adoption of innovation initiatives.
