We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst that will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of technology- and process-based solutions. In partnership with business leaders, clients, and vendors, they identify business needs, define process requirements and systems specifications, and implement the solutions. With a few years of experience, a Senior IT Business Analyst is still growing as an individual contributor but can tackle problems and get the job done, with guidance from senior team members.
We will count on you to:
- Help the team translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements for HR systems
- Provide traceability of business requirements to IT solutions and ensure system testing encompasses existing capabilities of the solution as well as future function point requirements
- Assist with identifying, verifying, and documenting functional requirements using requirements management methodology and tools
- Provide clear identification of data elements and data mappings/dictionaries where required
- Configure our Workday business processes to support the needs of the business
- Develop and execute SIT test scenarios and test scripts, documents all findings according to team standards
- Partner with business and IT to manage scope with each release
What you need to have:
- 0-2 years of experience working in an IT professional environment
- Exposure to gathering IT requirements and documenting business needs for system updates or enhancements
- IT functional and automated testing background
- Data entry experience or familiarity with databases
- Experience or understanding with documentation activities such as documenting issues, resolutions, process steps, and system changes clearly and accurately
- Strong problem-solving ability, quick learner, and able to troubleshoot technical issues across cloud and on-prem environments
- Good verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders

LOCATION:
New York City
COMPENSATION:
- The applicable base salary range for this role is $62,900 to $125,600.
- The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
