Mohs Surgeon Opportunity
Halo Skin Institute is seeking a Mohs Surgeon to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mohs Surgeon to work alongside a collaborative team of providers and support staff dedicated to delivering high-quality dermatologic care.
The ideal Mohs Surgeon will be committed to clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and working within a team-oriented environment. We currently have 3 full-time, and 3 part-time providers across three locations in Rocklin, Folsom, and Auburn. We have approximately 25 Mohs cases a week and continuing to grow on a weekly basis, providing a great opportunity for a Mohs Surgeon in our practice!

- This is a combination position offering the opportunity to provide both Mohs Surgery and General Dermatology, with flexibility to develop and grow your surgical practice over time.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct patient care, including exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Perform Mohs micrographic surgery to remove skin cancer tumors and interpret histopathologic findings to ensure clear margins
- Monitor patient progress and communicate results and treatment plans clearly
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to practice standards of care
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure
- Strong surgical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 2 days per week
Location: Rocklin, CA
Compensation: 300,000-800,000 per year, dependent on productivity and performance
