Employers hiring developer advocates in New York right now include Okta, sent, and Notion, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New York's dense concentration of fintech firms, enterprise SaaS companies, and large media technology organizations means developer relations teams here often focus on financial APIs, data platforms, and cloud-native tooling.
Which New York cities have the most developer advocate jobs?

New York City accounts for the vast majority of postings because it is home to the headquarters and major offices of enterprise software companies, global financial institutions, and media technology firms that run active developer relations programs, while demand outside the city tends to cluster around specific large employers or university research hubs in those areas.
