Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented TeamSite CMS Developer to join our innovative digital solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our content management system built on TeamSite. Your expertise will drive seamless content delivery, optimize user experience, and support scalable web development initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the digital transformation of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement features within the TeamSite Content Management System to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems using APIs, RESTful services, and web services.
- Develop and maintain front-end components utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks to ensure engaging user interfaces.
- Build robust backend solutions using ASP.NET (including ASP.NET MVC), WCF, Node.js, Python, and Java for scalable application development.
- Optimize system performance through effective database design and management with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and PL/SQL.
- Implement version control practices using GitHub, TFS, SVN to ensure code integrity and facilitate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to uphold high-quality standards across all development phases within an Agile software development environment.
- Design system architecture employing UML diagrams and system design principles to support distributed systems and microservices architecture on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Develop comprehensive web applications leveraging Web development best practices with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, XML, JSON, XSLT, and Bash scripting for automation tasks.
- Contribute to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes by participating in planning sessions, code reviews, documentation creation, and deployment activities.
Skills
- Proven experience with TeamSite CMS platform or similar content management systems.
- Strong proficiency in ASP.NET (including ASP.NET MVC), WCF services, Web services (SOAP), RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js; familiarity with TypeScript and Bootstrap for UI/UX design.
- Solid understanding of backend development using Python, Java, Node.js; experience developing scalable backend systems with microservices architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL; experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SVN; experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design distributed systems considering scalability and performance optimization on cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles including object-oriented programming (OOP), application design patterns (MVC), UML modeling.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies; proficient in SDLC processes including planning, testing (unit testing), debugging and deployment.
- Knowledge of system design for large-scale applications involving multithreading and distributed computing environments.
