We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining cloud-based application environments, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence initiatives across multiple product teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of development, testing, demonstration, and production-support environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Maintain and support application environments, including demonstration, development, and testing environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Support performance engineering initiatives and environment readiness activities.
- Conduct vulnerability analysis and assist with remediation efforts to improve security posture.
- Participate in technical research, architectural evaluations, and implementation of platform enhancements.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues across multiple environments.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Provide operational support during business hours and assist with critical environment maintenance activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Operations, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and administration.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
- Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications and environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
- Experience with source control and deployment automation tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise software products and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with performance testing, capacity planning, and reliability engineering.
- Understanding of application security, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience contributing to architectural design and technical modernization initiatives.
