Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Account Project Manager
Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree satisfies the E-3 specialty occupation requirement. Prepare a credential evaluation letter from a NACES-approved evaluator before interviews so hiring managers don't hesitate on your education when reviewing your application.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for account or project management roles. Past filings signal that HR and legal teams already understand the E-3 process and won't stall at offer stage.
Clarify the specialty occupation case during interviews
Account Project Manager titles vary widely. Before your offer, confirm the role requires a degree in a specific field, not just any bachelor's degree. Roles that accept any discipline as qualification are harder to support under the E-3 specialty occupation standard.
Request LCA filing immediately after offer acceptance
The LCA must be certified by DOL before your visa application can proceed. Ask your employer to file through the FLAG portal right away. DOL typically certifies within seven business days, so early filing keeps your consulate appointment timeline on track.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end preparation
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This is especially useful for first-time applicants who want the DS-160, LCA documents, and consulate prep managed by a dedicated E-3 expert.
Prepare a degree-to-role narrative before your consulate interview
Consular officers assess whether your specific degree field connects to the Account Project Manager duties in your offer letter. Write a clear two- to three-sentence explanation linking your coursework or major to client management, budgeting, or project delivery responsibilities.

Find Account Project Manager JobsAccount Project Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Account Project Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Account Project Manager roles at employers with demonstrated sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that will stall when the E-3 conversation starts. Filter by role and visa type to focus your outreach on employers already familiar with the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Account Project Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, communications, or a related discipline. The qualifying factor is that the degree must be in a defined field directly tied to the role's duties. Generic postings that accept any degree regardless of field are harder to support and may require additional documentation or a more detailed job description from your employer.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Account Project Managers?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap backlog, so an approved LCA and a clean application typically result in a visa within a few weeks of your consulate appointment. H-1B selection is lottery-based with roughly a 25 percent registration-to-selection rate in recent fiscal years. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is a far more predictable path into U.S. employment without the multi-year uncertainty of H-1B registration cycles.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3?
Changing employers requires a new LCA and a new visa or a status amendment, since your E-3 is tied to a specific employer and role. A promotion within the same company is generally fine if your job duties and title remain substantially consistent with the original LCA. A significant change in duties or a move into a management tier with different responsibilities may warrant filing an amended LCA to stay compliant.
