Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Product Architect
Align your degree to the role
Product Architect positions require a degree in a directly related field. If your Australian bachelor's is in a tangentially related discipline, document how your coursework and experience map specifically to enterprise architecture or systems design before applying.
Target employers with active LCA history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have certified LCAs for Product Architect or related architecture titles. Prior LCA filings signal a hiring team that already understands the E-3 sponsorship process.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for offer-stage filing
Once you have a written offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This removes the bottleneck of waiting on employer HR teams who may not have filed an E-3 before.
Confirm the job description meets specialty occupation
Ask the employer to confirm in the offer letter that the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field. Vague descriptions like 'bachelor's preferred' or 'equivalent experience accepted' can create problems at the consulate when the officer reviews your DS-160.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the interview
Consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia. Bring documentation of ties to Australia such as property ownership, family connections, or active superannuation contributions alongside your employer's support letter and LCA certification.

Find Product Architect JobsProduct Architect E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Product Architect jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles that include E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards where sponsorship status is often unlisted or inaccurate, Migrate Mate surfaces Product Architect openings at employers with verified E-3 and visa sponsorship history, saving you the back-and-forth of asking recruiters about willingness to sponsor.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Product Architect role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the job description requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as computer science, software engineering, or information systems. The role must not allow any bachelor's degree to qualify, regardless of field. If the offer letter or job posting uses language like 'degree in a related field or equivalent experience,' ask the employer to tighten the language before the LCA is filed with DOL.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Product Architect roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so your offer can move directly to an LCA filing and consulate appointment without waiting for a selection result in April. The H-1B requires surviving a random lottery before any processing begins. For Product Architect candidates with a confirmed offer, the E-3 timeline from offer to visa stamp is typically measured in weeks, not months or years.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Product Architect?
Changing employers requires a new LCA certified by DOL and a new visa stamp before you can start work for the new company. An internal promotion that changes your job title or duties significantly may also require an amended LCA. You can remain in the U.S. between jobs during a transition, but you cannot begin work for a new employer until the new LCA is certified and your visa reflects the updated role.
