About the role and team
Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As a Program Leader, you will act as a strategic and organizational partner to senior leadership, driving the high-leverage initiatives that keep our global support engine running. You will build high-performing teams in ambiguous environments, making hard calls under pressure and carrying the weight of decisions that define how we support millions of users across the globe.
We are looking for a Program Lead, AV Remote Assistance Operations Enablement, to lead operational readiness, execution quality and performance management for the Remote Assistance program. This role will sit at the intersection of product operations, partner management and program execution and ensure that Uber's Remote Assistance program is operationally ready, technically enabled and consistently executing to Uber's standards.
This is a high-judgment role for someone who can navigate ambiguity, work cross-functionally, use data to drive decisions and communicate clearly with senior leaders.
- Lead Operationalization: Incorporate program and operational standards into clear implementation plans, workstreams, owners, timelines, dependencies and success criteria.
- Own Launch Execution: Create readiness checklists, launch trackers, risk registers, decision logs and stabilization plans.
- Build Operating Cadences: Establish weekly business reviews, launch readiness forums, issue triage cadences and other highly cross-functional meetings.
- Manage Performance Metrics: Use operational data to drive clear recommendations for leadership, internal teams and partner stakeholders.
- Own Change Management: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Training, Analytics, Safety and external partners to ensure product and process changes are ready for operational deployment.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, product operations, consulting, strategy or analytics
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with remote assistance, remote support, technical support, command center operations or real-time operational workflows.
- Experience managing complex operational programs involving cross-functional internal teams and external partners or vendors.
- Experience building operational readiness plans, launch frameworks, process documentation, performance management mechanisms and governance structures.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience defining metrics, interpreting operational data, building scorecards and using data to drive decisions.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to quickly understand complex tools, workflows, systems and product constraints.
- Experience working with Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Training, Safety, Compliance or similar technical and operational teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level updates, business reviews or decision documents.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, impose structure and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Strong judgment, attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
Ready to Ride?
This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.
You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.

Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Sales enablement sits at the intersection of program management, instructional design, and go-to-market strategy. Map your Australian bachelor's degree field directly to the role's requirements on your resume and cover letter before approaching employers.
Target companies with dedicated enablement functions
Look for organisations where sales enablement is a standalone team, not a responsibility folded into marketing or HR. These employers already understand the role's scope and are far more equipped to initiate LCA filing with the DOL.
Request LCA filing before your start date
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before your visa interview. Once you have a written offer, ask your employer to begin LCA filing immediately so certification doesn't delay your consulate appointment or your intended start date.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the paperwork
After accepting an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This removes the administrative burden from your employer and reduces the risk of documentation errors that slow consulate processing.
Clarify remote versus onsite arrangements upfront
USCIS and DOL require the LCA to list the worksite location where you'll perform duties. If your role is fully remote or splits across multiple offices, confirm the worksite structure with your employer before LCA filing to avoid amendments later.
Prepare evidence that the role is a specialty occupation
Consular officers assess whether a position genuinely requires a degree. Bring the job description, your degree certificate, and any professional credentials showing your expertise in sales methodology, enablement platforms, or revenue operations to your visa interview.
E-3 Visa Sales Enablement Program Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Sales Enablement Program Manager jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Search Migrate Mate to find Sales Enablement Program Manager roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. Filtering by visa type saves you from applying to roles where the hiring team has never encountered the E-3 and isn't prepared to file an LCA with the DOL on your behalf.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Sales Enablement Program Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, communications, marketing, or instructional design. Roles where the employer accepts any degree regardless of field, or where no degree is formally required, may not meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard and can create problems at the consulate.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Sales Enablement Program Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap that fills each year, so you can apply at any point once you have a job offer. The H-1B visa has an 85,000-slot annual cap subject to a random lottery, meaning most applicants wait months to find out if they were selected at all. For Australians, the E-3 is a faster and more predictable path into a U.S. enablement role.
Can my E-3 status be maintained if I move into a senior or director-level enablement role?
Yes. The E-3 renews in two-year increments and isn't tied to a specific seniority level, only to the specialty occupation requirement. As long as the new role still requires a qualifying bachelor's degree in a relevant field, you can renew or transfer your E-3 status when you change positions, including promotions within the same employer.
