E-3 Visa Product Owner Jobs
Product Owner roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, typically business, computer science, or information systems. The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so Australian nationals can accept an offer and move quickly once an employer files the Labor Condition Application.

Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we're here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world.
To enable millions of users to explore, interact with, and participate in live events worldwide, StubHub is seeking a Product Manager, Paid Search / Acquisition to help drive one of our core acquisition channels across StubHub and viagogo. You will own the operating system that keeps our Paid Search product surface moving, building a clear experiment and delivery roadmap, driving strong cross-functional coordination, establishing reliable measurement, and creating durable knowledge that teams can use to make better decisions.
This role combines product thinking with practical delivery. You'll work across commercial goals, technical constraints, advertising platform behavior, and imperfect data to bring structure to a complex portfolio and help the team move with urgency without sacrificing measurement quality or context.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY
About the Team:
The Acquisition team is responsible for helping fans around the world discover the incredible live events available across StubHub and viagogo. Paid Search is a core acquisition channel within that ecosystem, requiring close coordination across Product, Data Science, Analytical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Operations.
We work across Google and Bing to continuously improve campaign performance, measurement, experimentation, and the underlying tools and workflows that enable the channel to operate effectively at scale. Our work balances near-term commercial performance with building durable systems, knowledge, and capabilities that allow us to make faster and better decisions over time.
What You'll Do:
- Translate Paid Search priorities into a clear experiment and delivery roadmap, maintaining the experiment calendar, capacity view, hypotheses, success criteria, launch gates, dependencies, and readouts.
- Coordinate delivery across Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, and Operations, surfacing risks early, resolving dependencies, sharing context, and keeping decisions moving.
- Help protect and improve our Google and Bing portfolio through campaign structure, bidding and tROAS optimization, sitelinks, ad copy, and other performance levers.
- Own the operating tools that make performance visible and execution faster, including dashboards, alerts, workflows, documentation, experiment readouts, and AI-enabled analysis and automation.
- Partner on attribution, policy, and measurement challenges, ensuring important problems have a clear owner, decision path, and method for validating whether solutions are working.
- Translate financial and commercial goals into clear prioritization and execution decisions while preserving the context and rationale behind those decisions.
- Build durable knowledge across Google and Bing so experiments, platform behavior, attribution rules, policy constraints, and historical learnings are easy for the team to find and reuse.
- Define useful metrics, assess experiment quality, and connect performance data and channel behavior to commercial decisions.
- Champion a culture of thoughtful experimentation and rapid execution, helping the team move quickly while maintaining high standards for measurement and learning.
What You've Done:
- Required: Extensive hands-on experience managing and improving Google Ads campaigns across a large, complex portfolio, including multiple markets, high campaign volume, and automated bidding. Deep practical knowledge of campaign structure, bidding and target ROAS, keywords, search ads, and performance measurement is essential.
- Required: Evidence of Google Ads improvements you personally identified and delivered, with the ability to explain what you changed, why, how you measured results, and what you learned. General marketing, analytics, or platform familiarity alone does not meet this requirement.
- Experience translating strategy into actionable plans and driving cross-functional delivery with technical and operations teams, including aligning priorities and leading without direct authority.
- Strong analytical judgment, including defining meaningful metrics, assessing experiment quality and attribution limitations, and connecting campaign performance to revenue, profit, and efficiency.
- Technical fluency with dashboards, data workflows, APIs, or automation, and the ability to work effectively with Data Science and Engineering partners.
- Clear written and verbal communication, strong organization, and reliable follow-through, with the ability to keep teams aligned and work moving in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Interest in developing product management skills, including problem definition, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery planning, with a willingness to own daily coordination and documentation.
- A practical, curious mindset and an ability to apply relevant platform developments, external knowledge, and industry best practices.
- Required: BS or MS in STEM, Economics, Psychology, or a closely related field, or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred: Previous Product Management experience, Microsoft Advertising experience, experience with portfolios representing $100M+ in annual Google Ads spend, or paid-search experience at a large international marketplace.
What We Offer:
- Accelerated Growth Environment: An environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale.
- Top Tier Compensation Package: Competitive base, equity, and upside that tracks with your impact.
- Flexible Time Off: Enjoy unlimited Flex Time Off, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule and take time to recharge as needed.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package, featuring 401k, and premium Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance options.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Product Owner
Align your degree to the role description
E-3 visa eligibility depends on your degree matching the specialty occupation. A product owner role supported by a computer science or business degree is straightforward, but a general arts degree requires additional documentation linking your coursework to the job duties.
Target employers with existing LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for product management or product owner roles. Prior LCA activity signals that the employer understands the E-3 process and won't stall at the paperwork stage.
Request a written specialty occupation justification
Ask your prospective employer to document why the product owner role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Vague job descriptions citing broad business skills are a common reason consular officers push back during the E-3 interview.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for offer-to-visa execution
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This keeps the process on track and reduces the risk of delays from inexperienced HR teams or first-time sponsors.
Negotiate your start date around LCA certification timing
The DOL typically certifies an LCA within seven business days, but build a buffer into your agreed start date. Product owner roles at startups often have tight onboarding windows that don't account for government processing timelines.
Verify your Australian degree equivalency before interviewing
U.S. consular officers treat Australian three-year bachelor's degrees as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, but bring your official transcripts and a credential evaluation if your qualification name or structure is non-standard or from a newer institution.
E-3 Visa Product Owner: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Product Owner jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It filters roles by E-3 sponsorship willingness, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored an Australian before. Product owner roles in tech, fintech, and enterprise software tend to have the highest sponsorship activity, and Migrate Mate surfaces those employers directly.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Product Owner role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the job description specifies a degree requirement in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or business administration. The risk comes when job postings say 'bachelor's degree preferred' rather than 'required', that ambiguity can create problems at the consulate. Ask the employer to confirm the degree requirement is mandatory before filing.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Product Owner roles?
The E-3 is significantly more practical for Product Owner roles. There's no lottery, no annual cap, and an employer can file the LCA and get you to a consulate interview within a few weeks of offer acceptance. The H-1B visa requires lottery selection in April, a six-month wait, and an October 1 start date. For Australians, the E-3 removes all of that friction.
Can I switch employers while on an E-3 as a Product Owner?
Yes, but you need a new LCA and a new visa stamp from a consulate before starting with the new employer. There's no portability provision like the H-1B has under AC21. If your current E-3 stamp is still valid and you return to Australia for the new consulate interview, the process is straightforward and typically takes two to four weeks.
