Position Summary:
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at LIU Brooklyn is seeking an Adjunct Professor to teach with experience in speech-language pathologist with advanced knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of swallowing disorders across the lifespan. The course should integrate evidence-based practice consideration of social determinants of health in clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach a graduate-level Dysphagia course for speech-language pathology students, ensuring alignment with current ASHA practice guidelines and CAA accreditation standards.
- Incorporate case-based and problem-solving approaches that address pediatric and adult swallowing disorders.
