Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Cardiac Technician
Verify your credential equivalency before applying
Australian cardiac technology qualifications vary in structure from U.S. programs. Get a formal credential evaluation confirming your degree maps to a U.S. bachelor's level before submitting applications, so employers aren't left guessing during the sponsorship assessment.
Target hospitals with active cardiology departments
Large health systems and academic medical centers that run cardiac catheterization labs, electrophysiology units, or echo departments file LCAs regularly and have HR teams familiar with E-3 sponsorship. Smaller private clinics often lack that infrastructure entirely.
Ask about LCA filing before the offer stage
U.S. employers must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before your visa appointment. Raise this in your final interview round, not after signing an offer, so you're not delayed by an employer who assumes sponsorship is simpler than it is.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles using Migrate Mate
Most job boards don't filter by visa sponsorship type. Use Migrate Mate to find Cardiac Technician roles where employers have confirmed E-3 sponsorship capacity, then use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork from offer to consulate appointment.
Get RCIS or RCES certification to strengthen your candidacy
U.S. employers in cardiology consistently expect credentialing from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International registry. Holding an RCIS or RCES credential signals clinical competency beyond your degree and removes a common objection during the specialty occupation assessment.
Align your E-3 timeline with hospital hiring cycles
Many U.S. hospital systems post cardiology tech roles in Q1 and Q3 ahead of budget cycles. The E-3 consulate appointment and LCA certification typically take four to eight weeks combined, so apply early enough to complete processing before your intended start date.

Find Cardiac Technician JobsCardiac Technician E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Cardiac Technician jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Most general job boards don't filter by E-3 sponsorship, so listings that appear open often exclude visa candidates in practice. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you find Cardiac Technician roles where employers have confirmed they'll support the E-3 process, including LCA filing and consulate preparation.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Cardiac Technician role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in cardiovascular technology, cardiac science, or a closely related clinical field. If the job description accepts any bachelor's degree or frames the degree as preferred rather than required, the specialty occupation standard may not be met and your application could be challenged at the consulate.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Cardiac Technicians?
The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian nationals and has no annual lottery, so you can apply any time of year without competing for a limited pool of slots. The H-1B is subject to an annual cap and a random selection process. For qualified Australians, the E-3 is a more direct and predictable path to U.S. employment in cardiology.
Can my employer sponsor my E-3 if they've never done it before?
Yes. There's no requirement for employers to have prior E-3 filing history. The process starts with the employer filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which is separate from USCIS. Many cardiology departments sponsor their first E-3 without difficulty, though they'll need guidance on the LCA certification steps and prevailing wage obligations.
