E-3 Visa Deal Desk Manager Jobs
Deal Desk Manager roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Australian professionals bring cross-functional commercial skills that U.S. SaaS and enterprise software companies actively recruit for, and the E-3's no-lottery structure means your timeline depends on your employer, not a random draw.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Deal Desk Manager
Frame your LCA job description precisely
The Labor Condition Application must list your job title and duties in a way that maps to a defined specialty occupation. Vague titles like 'commercial operations' can trigger DOL scrutiny, so work with your employer to align the LCA description with standard Deal Desk functions.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for employers who have filed E-3 or H-1B LCAs for Deal Desk or Revenue Operations roles. Prior filings signal that the company already understands sponsorship mechanics and won't stall at HR.
Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. hiring managers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Attach a credential evaluation letter from a NACES-member agency to your application package so your qualification isn't questioned before you reach the offer stage.
Negotiate the LCA filing into your offer timeline
DOL certified LCAs typically return within seven business days, but your employer needs to post the LCA notice at the worksite for ten consecutive business days before certification. Build this into your start-date negotiation so the paperwork sequence doesn't delay your visa appointment.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the post-offer process
Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the LCA, DS-160, and consulate preparation end-to-end. This matters for Deal Desk roles where your employer's legal team may be unfamiliar with E-3 requirements distinct from the H-1B they typically handle.
Clarify remote and multi-state work arrangements upfront
If your Deal Desk role involves working across multiple U.S. offices or from a home state different from your employer's headquarters, USCIS and DOL require separate LCA filings for each worksite location. Confirm the work arrangement in writing before the LCA is submitted.

Find Deal Desk Manager JobsDeal Desk Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Deal Desk Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. Filtering by role and sponsorship history surfaces employers who have already navigated the LCA and visa process for similar positions, which cuts the time you spend screening companies that won't engage with sponsorship.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Deal Desk Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, finance, economics, or a related discipline. The key is that the degree requirement must be part of the job's normal entry requirements, not just preferred. Roles where any degree is acceptable regardless of field are harder to qualify, so the job description wording matters when your employer files the LCA.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Deal Desk Manager roles?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual cap that has never been exhausted, so there's no lottery and no random selection. H-1B registration for the same role enters a lottery with a roughly one-in-four selection rate. For a Deal Desk Manager with an Australian passport, the E-3 is a direct path to a consulate appointment within weeks of a certified LCA, while an unsuccessful H-1B lottery cycle means waiting another full year to try again.
What happens to my E-3 status if I change employers or get promoted into a different role?
Each new employer requires a fresh LCA and a new E-3 visa application. A promotion that significantly changes your job duties can also require a new LCA even with the same employer, because the certified LCA is tied to a specific job title, location, and wage level. You can begin working for a new E-3 employer once your new visa is stamped, not before, so timing your resignation around your consulate appointment date is important.
